That´s exactly what I want a monorail for! To put it around the tree!

Question: How many of you have natural pines in their houses as Christmas trees?

We have a very nice and big artificial one, but since a couple of years ago, we buy a natural one. I just love the smell!

I agree -
Real trees just have a certain ambience...






BUT...

They're also very messy,

Aren't recyclable year after year,

Are a hassle to move from tree farm or tree merchant to home,

Their needles can be very sharp on some species and sting,

If they are wet, and you string some lights on them that may have just a little crack in the wiring...




You get the picture.

I have an artificial tree, and you can determine through the black pole at the bottom of the tree in my photographs.

Oh you are very right about the natural vs artificial trees. That´s why my mom never wanted the natural ones. We had to beg for one. The advantage of them is that you don´t need much storage room for them (they save you just a big box). Like my sister says, "after the season is over, I just throw it away". (and I hope someone reforested too!). They are also cheaper than the artificial ones. I know ours doesn´t get all crushed for being stored a whole year, but it is also an expensive one, a lot more than a natural one. :animwink:

I´ll post a pic of it when it is set...I think we will do it this weekend. I have only a few Disney ornaments...they were very expensive and I was afraid of breaking them on the way home! :animwink:

Nice tree you got! If it wasn´t for the base, it could be a natural one in the pics.

Ok dangit.. i'm jealous of SirNimajneb now.. He has the only monorail i don't have (the red one):lol: :lol: So far i have the black and yellow, but if someone wanted to be soooooooooo kind as to say here.. take my red monorail for you collection... that would a killer Xmas present..LMAO Does anyone know which one is next and when it's due out?
