garyhoov said:I am a truly terrible, evil father. My son Ryan (who turns 12 today) is very interested in, but also very afraid of legendary creatures (Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, Jersey Devil, etc.).
A few months ago we rented a truly terrible movie called: "13th Child - The Legend of The Jersey Devil". I recognized the location where they filmed it, so I told him we could go see it, but he said: "No way!!!"
So when we were on our way to Atlantic City, we stopped by the location but I didn't tell him where we were until we were ready to leave (because I knew as soon as he knew, he'd be running for the car).
We just finally picked up the photos (which were on that old fashioned "film" stuff) and I photoshopped a Jersey Devil into the background (look to the right of the house).
When I showed it to Ryan, his eyes got all big and then he said: "You added this in, didn't you"
I coyly said: "Well, I don't normally like to lie, but if it would make you feel better to know that I added it in, then, yes, I added it in."
I know it's evil, but life's too boring without a little spice, don't you think?
He'll be taller than me probably by this time next year (but I can still take him).MouseMadness said:1) Ryan looks about a foot taller than the last picture I saw of him!
