I have to worry about the oversensitive types who complain about people using those less fortunate for comedic purposes. God knows I have heard it before on other threads... :confused:

No flamesuit, no waiting. People get a little defensive when you make fun or a trailer park or make fun of someone for being a little further south than the rest of civilization. Only time I haven't seen anyone get lambasted for insulting a certain lifestyle type is on the mullet thread!

Yeah, I knew what you were saying. It just struck me as funny when you posted a defense before anybody had a chance to act offended. :D

I grew up in a trailer park and live further south than most folks here, I'd wager, and I couldn't care less about the stereotypes. Most of them are based in truth, and I can tell when it's in good fun or not. Lord knows, northern folks (particularly Philly pholk ;)) get their own share of razzing from the rest of us.

Gotta keep my guard up!! Believe me, I see people who seem like they can't acclimate to society on a daily basis living in Philly.

You know what they say about PA??

Just like Tennessee with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on either side!

I don't "do" PC. I don't need PC to tell me to treat everyone equally. I just do it - I believe that everyone has the right to have the p1ss taken out of them ;)

I could not agree more.....I don't ever mean to single any one person out...I am an equal opportunity offender!

You must have missed it then! We did get lambasted :lol:

It's all good now though. Once I explained that I myself was a former mullet wearer (hey, it was the 80s- everyone was doing it!) I was let off the hook. :king:

Come to think of it, I did see that but read it after the fact so it's intensity wasn't as strong as when it happened.
