Yes... a few friends of mine and I got involved with a bottle of absinthe on July, 4th. We each had about 4 or 5 shots of it... I don't remember most of the night, but I do remember convinccing a few ladies to come back to the casa with us after the fireworks...

Have to agree with you, don't like it. Alot of people I know say"how ya doin?". It's a NY thing...kind of like saying "not for nuthin', but" when you are making a point about something.

We say that at work,but not because of "friends" there was a beer commercial where everyone in this bar said How ya doin in a new york accent and eveyone where I work mimics that! :lol:
