Any chance the rapist is a CM at this point? I'm assuming that's the first thing the cops checked....Maybe he works at one of the construction sites nearby? Scary stuff.

At this point it could be anyone. Such a highly trafficked area by people from all walks of life. This is going to be a tough one for them to solve.

I agree, but in these cases where the incident area is trafficked by a brisk tourism trade the chances of finding the man is very slim. For all we know he is on a plane headed home right now. Or.... he could be working at DS each day in construction (as one poster pointed out). I feel sorry for the woman, but I don't hold much hope that the idiot will be caught.

Unless he's a local.... It was "Rewind Wednesday." That doesn't exactly draw tourists/out of towners.

He alwso has a very common look - mid 20s, goatee, glasses. Common hipster look.

I understand, but this is Disney World. How many people flock to DS each day/night from out of town? I'm only saying that it is going to be more difficult.

Sometimes they don't release info right away for fear of messing up the investigation. They may of had a lead they were working on that went nowhere and then needed to try and release to the public for help.

Before I even clicked the link I knew that it had to be at HOB. It's really the only place in DTD for people to get wasted and things like this happen way too often there, especially on the CP nights on Sunday and Wednesday, but that's not taking away from this story. It's terrible that things like this happen.

Tho I have seen shows there from time to time and they take that security very seriously. OCSO always has a large contingent outside... either that or its for the shows I go to.

I have my questions (like how did it take until 5 AM to find the victim?!) but mostly I want to see this guy caught.

Yep, Sunday is EDM nights and just last September or so they started doing "Rewind Wednesdays" every wednesday. It's now 21+ (was 19+) as Disney made HOB change policy). The wednesday nights have really gained in popularity and are almost more popular than Sundays sometimes.

The fact that they waited so long to go public, really has me curious also. Leads me to all kind of speculation. Was it political, did Disney try to keep it quiet, was there something in the victim's story that was questionable? Did they believe this was an isolated incidence, date rape?
Am I just mis-reading, or does it seem like the news outlets seem reluctant to officially call it a "rape case"? Things just aren't adding up for me.
I hope they catch the guy, but still, there are some unanswered questions.

i love DTD and HoB ..been to a few shows there...this creep gives me the skeeves and imma dude..
