Possible New Country at World Showcase

I think Brazil, Russia and Eygpt would be wonderful additions to World Showcase. I would also like to see serious changes to England as someone from Britian I think itis dreadfully boring and in no way portrays the delights of our homeland.

This is the true part that is missing from EPCOT. There definitely needs to be some country representing Eastern Europe and the Cyrillic alphabet, etc. Whether it's Greece or an enticing Russia doesn't matter. Both would be cool!

they could build Greece and have it open for the Olympics in 2002...and they could build a Matterhorn clone (haha...I know...broken record), only completely rethemed, called Mount Olympus. They need another ride on the right side of American Adventure, so I say Soarin' over (which country shall I choose THIS week...?) the UK! Or...you know what would be BEAUTIFUL...soarin' over Australia. OMG...if I had the money...I'd go there...but since I don't...IT'S DISNEY'S JOB TO! Can't you just imagine the possibilities? Waterfalls. Great Barrier Reef. Outback. Tasmanian jungle. They could do so much...Aussies need to show up either here or Animal Kingdom...OR BOTH!

I like that Mt. Olympus thing. Yeah, that'd be cool. Any way it gets there, Disney needs to put the Matterhorn into WS. Whether it's in Japan, Switzerland, Greece, Rome, anything. I don't care, they need it.

I wouldn't want Hercules in World Showcase...it'd destroy the point of it--displaying world cultures. If they stuck to mythology and not disney movies, I think it'd be kewl. Anyway, it's definitely time for a park other than MK to finally get a mountain...I'd like to see one at Animal Kingdom, too...it'd look weird at MGM...

same here...along with AK. I personally feel that tie-ins belong at MK and MGM...although I can handle them in Future World...if they are small. I don't think they need to keep building rides based on movies at AK...it's kinda odd...

Personally, I think Egypt would make quite a fascinating addition to World Showcase. They could build a pyramid and make a Spaceship Earth-type attraction out of it, discussing the different dynasties and customs of the ancient egyptians.

A ride is needed in the World Showcase. People won't care what type, they will notice there is something new, and they will want to see what's NEW...I include myself, after all, who doesn't enjoy seeing something new at Disney? I really don't think a "mountain" is necessary, it will steal attention from the other countries which I hope is not Disney's aim. It's good to keep guests in various attractions at a time so no long lines are formed, but in WS they need people everywhere.

Hmm, i think they do need the mountain.

Test Track has done a great job of showing people who wouldn't usually come what a great park Epcot is. I believe that Mission:Space will also do the same. Now come on, don't get me wrong, Maelstrom and American Adventure are great, (Maelstrom would be even better with small changes) but a Mountain is really needed to add to the Adventure and excitement of the World Showcase, wherever it be, it needs to come. Disney must know this.

I mean, take for example myself, I go to Epcot, and I see no reason to wander to the left of USA, sure there're movies over there, but nothing that sounds cool to me. A mountain, however, on the righthand side of the World Showcase, WOW, cool, I walk over to that side of the Park "hey, why don't we grab a fastpass for the MAtterhorn and head over to see O Canada. Wow, look at this, I feel like I'm really here" etc... Any E-Ticket on that side of the park is a good idea, a great idea.

But do we want Epcot to turn into a thrill ride park...first TT then Mission Space and now a Mountain?

It's kind of a departure from what Epcot is supposed to be all about....

Test Track is borderline...in fact I think it's not at all what EPCOT is all about, yet people keep yelling "it is! it is!"...and Mission Space may JUST be educational?? Don't know. But if they DO put in a mountain in World Showcase (that would, of course, feature the Swiss culture) I would find nothing wrong. Then they could spend more time on the "educational" or Retro-EPCOT museum type idea thing...as crowds would be pouring in...

EPCOT needs more guests before they pay tribute to the old attractions I would think...and have time to think of a new, very NICE one...
