Possible Attraction in France pavilion (Epcot) Update - new Attraction Greenlit

The site that cannot be named has pictures form the Swiss pavilion planning stages. The Matterhorn was like Test Track (not the biggest fan of some of the designs for the ride), so any plans to involve it would need to be changed.
That version of the Matterhorn really is an example of backstory run amuck. Going bobsledding in the Alps doesn't need further justification.

I can't read all pages of this thread so unsure if anybody has asked, but doesn't the rat suffer terrible over demand/capacity issues at WDS? I know it consistently has atrocious wait times.

If so it doesn't really seem like a sensible solution to Epcots issues at this point.

An Oscar Niemeyer-influenced Brazil pavilion would look absolutely glorious! Of course, a Brazil pavilion would almost certainly be some kind of pastiche of Rio rather than Brazilia and that approach makes sense for a lot of reasons. Still, it would be very striking to have a replica of the above building siting amongst the World Showcase pavilions in a good way.

I agree with a few others who've posted: Brazil seems to be a no-brainer. As nice as a Matterhorn might be, World Showcase is Euro-centric enough without Switzerland.

A Brazil pavilion would also give Disney to do what current Disney loves to do....throw a dance party.

No. Ratatouille has a capacity of over 2,200 per hour. To put that in perspective it is at least 600 more per hour than Test Track.

Not to mention the main reason for Walt Disney Studios' waits is that the park is so bad, so the rides are the only thing you can do. That paired with it being a new ride and that the rides are in close proximity to one another add to the wait times.

Agreed. It's a big, identifiable country from an area of the world that's poorly represented. It's also not one steeped in controversy like (as much as I'd like to see it) Egypt would be. If we get a new pavilion and it's not Brazil, I'd assume Brazil was at the very least in the running.
Australia, Spain, and Korea would be nice additions as well, though hopefully they get working on them soon if they're going to happen as I assume if they wait too long the empty pads will be filled with rides from adjacent countries.
