But.... wasn't the attraction designed by WDI in California? So aside from some recalculations that had to be doneDuring construction in France, I am sure the basic plans are english enouogh to work here...the bigger problem would be how they are scaling it back without the restaurant, and how the new building will fit into the existing space.
Architects and engineers licensed in France had to do that relevant work. The calculations are not a few simple things and they have to be done before construction.

So apperantly there is construction equipment, materials, etc all laid out backstage of the pavilions ranging from France through germany. Considered a "mess". Anyone else seen this? My first thought was Rat, but after readng this thread and hearing what Marni is saying, I don't think it is. Gondolas is my second guess, but it seems out of place. Unless, it is always like this...

There is something under construction behind Germany, this was a picture from about a month ago. May that equipment is related to this.

Possibly... She made it seems like it was through out the avenue of the stars, that picture looks like it is contained specifically to Germany. I just assumed it was related, but obviously from the picture it is not. I'll check with her again on the details.

Either way... what is that behind Germany??

It seems to early for Rat, and I doubt there would be much related to the gondola back there, except for maybe one tower.

Not sure what is behind Germany, I was never able to find a permit for it. I assume it's just a new backstage building.

There is no motion base, strictly on screen. That surprised me too and was a little lacking. The other being the floor to screen integration on a couple of the scenes.

I don't know if this was picked up on but there is (what I would call) a motion base, when you fall through the glass ceiling and in the final kitchen scene the rat tilts forwards, it also bumps to simulate movement when sat in front of the large screens.

I think you mean Tangled River cruise in today's world showcase.
:jawdrop:

Edit: :jawdrop: represents both excited for a Tangled River cruise, shock at a Tangled River cruise, and just general :jawdrop: at a river cruise. And in addition the :jawdrop: of a project that hasn't seen the rumor mill of these boards....if true :cautious:

The vehicle also feels like the rat vehicle is running its little rat feet in a scene.
It does have a motion base, but its movement is more like WDW's Winnie The Pooh than Dinosaur. But obviously its much better done than Pooh.

Believe it or not, Ratatouille is the only Disney LPS ride in the world to have motion in the vehicles.

Thanks Mick, I was attempting to be silly as well. Well, maybe next time. But seriously, that cleared out space is rather suspicious. Unless I missed it in the boards, this clearing can't be accounted for.

This. Nothing exciting.
