I have been looking at pictures from Le Cellier. My DH has a good appetite but the portions look really small. Does anyone know about the size of the steaks that you get?:veryconfu

The portions aren't huge but you won't leave hungry. I went with my DF who at most restaurants eats his entrée and half of mine, lol. We were there for lunch and each had the bread and a bowl of their amazing cheddar cheese soup to start and he could barely finish his steak. He ordered the NY Strip, which he said was the best steak he'd every had, until he tried my Mushroom Fillet Mignon which was out of this world! We were both very full by the end, and could barely finish the dessert they gave us as an engagement gift (we were engaged the night before in MK and we're wearing the buttons). The service was outstanding (his name was James) and the food was unbelievable. It's definitely worth trying, although I hear you can get even better steaks elsewhere on property, such as Yachtsmans. Hope this helps!

We went there in Feb and when we left we were full. DH and I are not small people and DH has a big appetite. DD13 and I had the filet with mushroom risotto, it was wonderful, DH had just a bite of mine. DS9 had spaghetti with butter, DH didn't taste it. DH had the NY Strip and he said it was excellent. We all had the Cheddar cheese soup as an appetizer (DH ordered a bowl instead of a cup, the rest of us each had a cup). DD13 had a few bites but, not her fav. thing so DH finished it for her, DS9 hated the soup after only 1 taste so DH ate his, and I ate about half my soup so DH ate the rest. Wow, he ate alot of that soup! DD13, DH and I all had the chocolate mousee for dessert and DS9 had ice cream. The portions are not huge at LeCellier but, with the soup and breadsticks(which are delish) and the entree and dessert, it was a very filling meal. Especially for DH:ROFLOL:.

It is smaller, but when you add in all the courses (if you get those) you get plenty. It is less of a value I guess if you just get an entrée, if that is the plan I might suggest elsewhere.

I have never had a problem with the portion size and have always felt full up. The steaks are wonderful and I think its the best park resturant.

I just remember having choices - a 6 oz tenderloin or a 9 oz tenderloin, etc. Doesn't say the sizes on any of the menus on Allears.net though...

The filet is not huge but its not small for a filet. You will fill up on pretzel bread sticks anyways!!!

Grand Floridian Cafe and Tutto Italia have HUGE steaks.

2 places I'll be eating at in 2 weeks! I love the steaks from both of those places, and plan on getting pictures.

As for the pretzel bread, I'll be taking a ziplock gallon baggie for late night snacks in the room. :D

Not exactly what you were looking for - but if you want a far better BIG Steak? Hit Shula's at the Dolphin :)
I was considering trying Shula's on my solo trip next month but the smallest steak is 12oz?! That's not going to happen
Can you tell I'm not a big eater? I couldn't even finish that NY strip in the photo I posted, my friend finished it for me!

We went to Le Cellier in May and both my husband and father have big appetites. We were on the dining plan and went for lunch, so we had an entree and dessert. We were all full (three of us had the NY strip, one had the filet) after a 1:40 lunch and only needed our snack in the evening. Steaks are wonderful! I would recommend it!
