Going w/ the Free Dining at the end of June. Would LOVE to do FQ but Riverside is a much better price. Has anyone done Riverside w/ 3 kids? If so, what did you think? Trying to decide whether to spend that extra money and get 2 rooms or not. Help!!!

It depends, how old are the children?. Our family of 3, 2 adults and a 4 yr old have tons of room. The beds are queen size and the trundle I believe is a twin size. So if your children are younger, you should have plenty of room.

No problem for us either. One tip - if you think that no one will fit the trundle, remember you don't have to use it. Bring along an air mattress and use that instead. It will fit with room to spare (well a twin anyway) and is definitely larger and more comfortable.

You can deflate and put under the bed during the day or simply lean it up against the wall.

The hotel is beautiful, the pools are great and transportation is easy. Enjoy your vacation!

At those ages you should be good to go at PORS. If you had 3 girls ages 17, 15 and 13 I would have recommended 2 rooms....possibly at different resorts.:D

We stayed there last summer and we only had 4 people but due to our size and the fact that they only have queen sized beds my wife and I slept seperate and our8 year old son bed hopped between us while my 16 year old slept on an air mattress between the bed and the door. We had plenty of room though and could have easily added another pre teen without being too crowded. Besides you are so tired that you could sleep 3 to a bed and be happy just because you are not walking.... lol

French quarter has queen beds. The rumor is that if and when Riverside gets queen beds the trundle will go away. No conformation on that yet though.

We have stayed at POR twice w/ 3 kids & are going again in Sept.
We love it! :D
We are usually only in the room to sleep & shower, so it was fine for us.

Lovingdisney24 - your kids ages are exactly the same ages as mine and we always stay at Riverside when we go to Disney. We have never had a problem with room and our 6 year old loves sleeping on the trundle. You won't be disappointed. Have a great time! :)
