Popcorn refills

Seems the popcorn buckets at Uni are always the same(at least whenever I have gotten it) and I dont ever remember seeing a limitation on time for it. If you manage to store that bucket and lug it all the way back, more power to ya on the refill!

Disney tracks the refillable mugs with RFID tags because the refills are at no charge.

The popcorn bucket refills are a different story. You still pay for the refills, just at a discounted rate. Disney is still clearly making quite a significant profit on each and every refill.

As has already been pointed out, if Disney thought they were losing money, or even a lot of potential profit, on this deal, they'd have put RFID tags on the buckets. They haven't, which suggests to me that they think leaving it up to the interpretation of the individual cast member is working well enough for them.

I trust that if Disney thought they were losing money on popcorn refills, they'd put barcodes or RFID tags on the buckets so they could track that.

But they get the kernels from PopSecret for FREE and the salt from Morton's for FREE! FREE I TELL YOU! At least that's what the bus driver told me.
