Yeah, it's a regular thing..one time, I was on the Peoplemover and when we passed by the stage, all I heard was "Baby, Baby, Baby ohhhh". My ears felt like they were going to bleed.:hungover:

I kind of like the dance party, though. It's pretty fun to dance around with the characters! This past trip, I got to dance with the Incredibles and Frozone. :p

I remember wandering through Tomorrowland years ago and listening to Hanson's MMM Bop while the kiddies danced away the night. I remember thinking that if this was Disney's vision of the future, finally sitting at room temperature would not be such a bad a thing for me.

Given that it's Tomorrowland.....how long do you think it will be before they make it a Guardians of the Galaxy dance party?

Granted, as cheap as Disney's going, instead of having face characters, they'll just stick a raccoon mask on Stitch and put Goofy in a green wig.

Where is "Groot" ??

While I'm not married to the music they play (I think they could record some Disney themed dance music easily enough.), I like the party atmosphere in Tomorrowland at night. Now, I'm glad they don't do this all day but it feels magical to me at night with the music and all the lights. It's my favourite land to be after dark.

Don't even get me started on this.

1) It doesn't make sense in Tomorrowland.
2) If it has to be there, why is it in the middle of everything in such an odd spot?
3) The whole area needs a redo. Remember Galaxy Palace Theater? Wasted and closed.
4) This "dance party" is a lazy man's way of stirring up crowds and getting people excited about nothing.
5) It should be at DHS if anything.
6) It ruins a big part of Tomorrowland.

The sad thing is they don't need to record any new music. Just have a colleague in Japan ship over a set of all the CDs that have released over there, plenty of dance music around.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but Disneyland has been hosting mainstream music in Tomorrowland Terrace since 1967.

Anyone remember Disneyland Showtime when the Osmond Bros were singing "Let the Sunshine In" in Tomorrowland?

Different music nowadays, but I guess it's tradition?

It was such a little oddball special just to promote the Grand opening of The Haunted Mansion...But, it's such a guilty pleasure to watch...

But, my favorite special I have is Disneyland's 30th...Such pure 80's...

This is the only music I want to hear when I'm in Tomorrowland... :)

Personally I'd take the calmer Tokyo version of our loop any day.

Speaking of weird pop music experiences, though, anyone paid attention to the area loop in most of Epcot's Future World when they're running Flower and Garden?
The loop is really jarring. Makes the place feel like Six Flags.

Are Suburban Legends mainstream?

The music is really annoying :/ I tend to avoid Tomorrowland at night bc it's annoying.

They should play futuristic music, like ARTPOP. (Joking about artpop obviously aha but futuristic music would be a lot better).

I still have nightmares about that awful stage for High School Musical that they put into Tomorrowland...one of the most vile thematic missteps in the history of WDW
