POp Century --We got a deal since they were not opening

We recieved a letter telling us someone would call
us soon or we could call the number on the letter
(407/939/7624)
So, we called the number.
We were staying 4 nights at POP and 4 nights
at CBR, at first they only wanted to give us
a rate for the 4 nights at POP, but my husband
persisted (by hanging up and calling back) and
found someone to give us all 8 nights at the
CBR for $149.78 w/tax a night at the CBR!!
(4 nights at the cbr were originally $170.99)

So, i think we got a heck of a deal since we
live in texas and cannot use specail codes, plus
this is peak season.
OH, FYI--AKL standard view was quoted at 176.50
a night.

Give them a call if you are at POP!!

the deal you spoke of. We are hoping they will put us in a savannah view room anyway...I'm sure if some are open, they would want to so we'll come back.

The Disney Club allows people from Texas to join and they give you a bigger discount (w/tax)! And you might want to check that AP deal since you plan to stay for a week.

I don't know how I did that, but I was impressed with myself after I viewed the post. I suppose pride is not a good response in this case.

Ok, let me see if I can get it right this time (at least I am out of the quote section). Since you had a reservation at POP and WDW cancelled that, is it not their responsiblity to find you a room at their expense and not yours? The POP is a value resort. So as I understand it, you're paying $1,200 for 8 nights at the CBR? Forgive me, but I don't see a deal here. Perhaps I misunderstood your post.

176.00 for the AKL? Wow..that is really good. Did they quote you a price for the Savannah View? We have it for 210.00 right now but I'm always looking for a bargain
