The Poly is right next to the TTC...youi can walk there in less than 15 minutes...the monorail will take you at least 30 minutes. The quickest way to get there is to walk to the TTC and take the Epcot monorail.

You could also take the monorail to the TTC, but since the monorail runs the opposite direction you'd need it to (from the Poly, it goes to the GF, then the MK, then the Cont., THEN the TTC before going back to the Poly), TiggerRPh is probably right, it'll almost definitely be faster to walk to the TTC, and then take the monorail from there. But if the weather is extremely hot, and you want to expend as little energy as possible (or you just enjoy the trip) then the monorail from Poly to TTC, and then the monorail from TTC to Epcot will be more enjoyable and less grueling.

The route is well shaded until you get to the TTC...it's a short walk...not grueling at all.
