I am brand new memeber but been viewing the fourms for a year. Well anyways even tho my name is PolyneisanAlex i am not an expert on the hotel

I have a few questions

This is a Major Question
I Need to stay at a hotel that when you walk outside of your room your inside a interior hall way I have bad allergies when i wake up so it would not me comfy Does Poly have inside halls?

I heard Niue is one of the best long houses because of its size but if i cant what is the next best thing

Yes, the hallways are inside. We stayed at Rapa Nui and its close to the TTC, but a short hike to the main parts of the hotel (shops and restaurants).

Tigsmom is right, Rapa Nui is closest to the TTC (like Tahiti) but a short distance away from the main building.

However I believe the OP was refering to Niue though, the building located between Samoa and the Grand Ceremonial House.

Niue, Samoa, and Rarotonga are all close to the main building, main pool, monorail and boat launch. Rarotonga is the closer of the three to the bus stops and TTC.

Niue is the smallest building of all the longhouses so it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a back up!

We're requested Fiji for our August trip as rooms either overlook the Marina or small Beach area. It's a very short walk to the main building and amentities and an overal quiet, private location!

Make sure you bring your allergy meds! There are lots and lots of flowers and plants all over the grounds at the poly. I only have mild seasonal allergies, went in December without any meds, and ended up spending rediculous amounts of money on benadryl in the gift shop just from the walk to the monorail!

I was thinking the same thing. While you initially exit your room to an interior hallway, part of the charm of the Poly is that you walk through heavily landscaped trails between buildings. If you want something truly enclosed, consider Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Yacht/Beach or Boardwalk for more interior and open pathways.

I can't afford the Poly:cry:

ONE DAY!!!!!!!!! Victory will be mine!!!:ROFLOL:

You can afford it! You just gotta save and plan for it. I didnt think I could afford to stay at The Beach Club, but I saved and saved and booking with a AAA Travel, their discounts, my very first trip to WDW was at The Beach Club! Next trip is not until 2010, but it will be at the Grand Floridian! My rambling point is, if you plan and skip the lattes (HUGE sacrifice for me! :slurp:) YOU CAN DO EEEEIIIITTTT!

Niue is a nice small longhouse and close to the pools and Great Ceremonial House but I don’t know if it would be in my top 5 of Longhouses.

It depends on what view you are booking. If you are booking a garden view than Tokelau, Samoa and Fiji have much nicer views and just as good a location.

Check out tikiman's website. It has the most detailed information on the Poly that I've ever seen. The Poly is our fav resort and I visit tikimans site often. Mahalo Steve for all you do.
