I think that they should change it a bit (see Tower of Terror) so that it has differernt rides each time, different scenarios, etc. Maybe even make it interactive for real.

If you ask me tower of terror is much more intense, It is an innovative ride which no one is probably ever going to duplicate. It belongs in epcot.

I would be dissapointed if the ride closed. Honestly some people are just ignorant and don't listen when it says not to go on if you have Heart, Neck or Back problems.

Anyway, I would be dissapointed if it closed...or even if they toned it down even more. It's a great ride, plus closing it would be a waste of $$ for Disney and for Epcot.

I personally don't think that there is a thing wrong with M:S other than is is a ride where you truly need to pay attention to the health warnings because it is an extreme thrill ride. For decades them parks, amusement parks etc have been plastering up "Do not ride if you have X" on nearly every ride weather they deserved it or not. Because of this we people ignore the warnings.

I say close it. It's too intense for a disney park.
have you ever actually ridden it? its really not that intense

i'd be disappointed if it closed, there's really no other ride in the world like it (i mean, weightlessness? how cool is that?)

As it stands, there is no reason to consider closing M:S. We do not currently know what role, if any, the attraction played in the death of the woman. Any further speculation to this end is pointless until we know more of the facts.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I also don't think it's that intense...(granted I am a child of Cedar Point) I was nervous when I first went on it but it wasn't that bad at all.

The second time I went on it I was a little nauseated afterward, but I would be with any spinning ride. They have so many warnings up on this ride, people just need to heed them.

This is a knee jerk reaction. It is a good ride, people just need to know their limits. This sounds like the start of the Alien Invasion debate.

It is a great ride, and I hate any type of roller coaster, but love Mission Space

It is intense and some people may not know they have health or heart problems, look at the 28 year old baskeball coach who just past away from an enlarged heart. She never knew she had a problem.

That is why it is important to enjoy life to the fullest

Don't let this keep you from riding the attraction unless you suffer from the possible problems that you are warned about. I feel the attraction is quite tame compared to most roller coasters. Give it a try, unless the warnings THAT YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO are pointing at you in the face.
