Hi @jakeman! OMG. Of course, I totally agree! And, very well said.I guess judging each on their individual merit and recognizing that competition is ultimately better for the consumer is out of the question?
They don't, just as this thread didn't belong in N&R at the onset. But someone has a job to do....Both of these will be across the planet from each other. Not sure how they compare.
It's just a friendly discussion. There are other threads that are probably of more interest to you, like the alcohol thread, for instance. And, Happy Holidays!! Buh-bye.They don't, just as this thread didn't belong in N&R at the onset. But someone has a job to do....
Omg.Zelda? Huuuge fan of the source material, but outside of letting me walk inside someone's house to break their pots, I don't see it.
You've enough work that you need not add moderator to your resume. Besides, there's no pay for that job, unlike your other....It's just a friendly discussion. There are other threads that are probably of more interest to you, like the alcohol thread, for instance. And, Happy Holidays!! Buh-bye.
Hi @KLinder7! Hmm, this is an interesting comment. I only agree because Nintendo Land is opening in Japan first.Star Wars will win over Nintendo any day, and I'm a fan of both. Will be interesting to see what comes from Nintendo though. A mini land around Zelda could be amazing.
Hi @wdwfan757! Wow, great comment. This is kind of surprising to me.Huge Nintendo fan, but I don't think the land will end up better than Star Wars just because the subject material is so unreal/unrelatable. The most submersive lands (think HP) make you feel like you're really actually there. This is easy for me to imagine in star wars... Mario? definitely not. Star Fox? Possibly, but Millenium Falcon is more exciting... Zelda? Huuuge fan of the source material, but outside of letting me walk inside someone's house to break their pots, I don't see it. I do think the attractions will be better than SWL though. Im not even convinced that Disney is capable of making better attractions than Universal under the current regime and practices...
Hi @raven! I apologize if I wasn't clear. But, we are discussing Nintendo Land up the street at UNI Orlando. Both of these will be across the planet from each other. Not sure how they compare.
OMG, Marni! You just dropped a major bombshell!!! Now, I just have to know who the possible neighbors are.I think the possible neighbors for Nintendo Orlando will excite a few people.
The SWL dark ride should be superb.
Hi @Tiny Arms! LOL. I'm not going to make you choose. I guess it's safe to say that you voted for both. Very well said. And, I totally agree.Don't make me pick between the two
I've grown up with Star Wars & *everything* Nintendo (I still adore the latter very much, lol). I'm excited for both, but I think Star Wars Land will most likely end up as being the higher-quality, more immersive themed land.
Regardless, I really hope that the two of them succeed & perform very well.
Hi @Master Yoda! Wow, spoken like a true Star Wars fan!!! You must have just seen Rogue One or something. LOL. I wanted to see it this weekend but all of the 3D IMAX and XD Xtreme screens are sold out. So, hopefully I'll see it around Christmas or something.I am a bit of an anomaly amongst my fellow gamers in that I could care less about Nintendo.
Hi @Direwolf27! Neat ideas for Zelda. I would gladly pay to break some of those pots.Omg.
That would actually be incredible though. Make the land mostly walkable. Set up some people to give out quests (like Agent P, I think that's how that works, right?), build some little huts and cottages that are filled with pots to break.
Completely immersive, and satisfaction is guaranteed.
Hi @Raveney! I love your avatar. Thanks for chiming in!!! I agree that there is plenty in both lands to be excited for.I don't care who wins out I'm excited for both!
Wow. So, are the other threads here, just not working out for you or something. I'm not telling what to do -- just offering friendly suggestion(s) for discussions that may be more suited to your interests. Like, you seem so unhappy here. That's all. You've enough work that you need not add moderator to your resume. Besides, there's no pay for that job, unlike your other....
Unhappy? Not in the least. Just making sure folks know your true motivation for being around these parts....Hi @Tiny Arms! LOL. I'm not going to make you choose. I guess it's safe to say that you voted for both. Very well said. And, I totally agree.

But, since you insist on staying -- did you at least vote? What land are you most excited for?
Well, for what it's worth -- I'm totally glad that you're happy. And, I think you have done an exceptional job of informing the community of my motives, going on like two or three years now. So, I think your work here is totally done.Unhappy? Not in the least. Just making sure folks know your true motivation for being around these parts....
Hi @Goofyernmost! Wow, that's such a gross oversight on my behalf. Ugh, I hope you forgive me. You can still choose one anyway, though!Personally, I could live a long happy life without either of them, but, that just makes this thread not my place, since you didn't give me that option in the poll. Enjoy!
