POLL: Disney to Open Full Service Bar Inside Hollywood Tower of Terror

Do you want to see a bar inside of Hollywood Tower of Terror?

  • Yes. I will gladly purchase a drink or three at this bar -- one drunkytown is not enough.

  • Sure. I don't mind but I will not visit or buy a drink at this bar.

I don't have to provide you with a vitae, but if you must know hypothyroidism is the most prevalent "cause", there are 5 other endocrinological causes, I won't bore you with those, I'm sorry I must have offended you. Do you own a scooter?
No, no scooter. And I'm always fascinated when someone can readily diagnose and dismiss others with as little as a glance at then in a theme park. Vitae or no....

Actually it's fairly easy with the right education and a great deal of professional experience (30+ yrs).
Which of course you have. Also makes it easier to anonymously comment on how they supposedly ruin your theme park vacation. Well done....

I really couldn't care less whether you believe me or not. You remind me of my pts that want to blame everyone & everything else for their condition. My comment was they BOTHERED me, I said nothing resembling ruination. I was being sarcastic by the way. Anonymity is sort of the point of these forums is it not? My,my how the ignore list grows......

You seem a bit touchy about the whole weight issue perhaps you need to consult, well not me for god's sake, another professional. Perhaps an Endocrinologist, Internist, General surgeon or Psychiatrist?
Touchy? No, I was just looking forward to be put on your ignore list....

I'm very cool with this.
If done well this will actually enhance the theming of the attraction.
Really, if it's supposed to be re-opening, why wouldn't a place like the Hollywood Tower Hotel have a lounge in the lobby?
Especially if it "exists" as we're seeing it in 1945?

I apologize. Seriously, I just realized you appear to be from the U.K. That last comment I made was insensitive. With your health care system it would be years before you could actually see anyone.

I agree. In fact, a full-fledged Tip Top Club would be awesome. We won't get that, of course, but the bar could be, as you say, an enhancement for the Tower's atmosphere, if it's done with a retro-1939 flavor and if the drinks are Tower-themed.

Just the same, I do understand people's objections. Walt didn't want alcohol served in his parks. He saw it as a corrupting influence, I guess. I don't know if he would amend his views if he were alive today. If the use of alcohol in the parks DOES lead to unfortunate incidents, especially in the Magic Kingdom, then I'd hope they would again be banned. We'll have to wait and see.

I chose other. I do not like that idea. For one, it'll just make it more crowded with people lollygagging in the bar. Secondly, do you really want to ride on that with someone who may have had one too many and a weak stomach? I sure don't.
