Pleasure Island Attire

Been to Disney World approximately 30 times, but never been to Pleasure Island. This year, we have someone to watch the kids, so the hubby and I plan to go for a few hours. My question is, what is appropriate attire. Married with kids so don't do the party scene to much anymore. I just don't want to stand out like a sore thumb. Is theme park attire appropriate or should it be a little more dressed up!! I want to go to the Adventurer's Club since I have read so much about it on the forum.

Jay-Rod and Mightyduck, you were there recently, can you enlighten me?

Oh yeah, if it matters we are between 35 and 45 years of age. But of course, we are never going to grow up at Disney!!

Well as I am a self styled Adventurers Club expert, ask away!! Any attire will do just don't make the mistake I did in 2001 by wearing a sequin top to the AC, I was referred to by the characters all night as "Spangle Girl"!!! If you want a better idea of the AC try www.adventurersclub.net to let you know what mayhem you are letting yourself in for. I just wish I lived in the same country so I could go there every night! Any other questions just PM me!

I'm gonna Drift here for a minute.

I just realized something. This thread was brought back to life after almost two and a half years. Check the first posts. They are from august 2001. That's nuts.

If you look around a bit, there are a few oldies that have been resurrected. It's all part of Jay-Rod's evil plan. :drevil:

Could i ask if there are any age restrictions on the attractions? As my girlfriend will be 20 but we would love to see some of the things like restaurants and bars, but she doesn't have to drink. And neither do i for that matter!

That Comedy Warehouse i would particularly like to go to!

I've taken my daughter (20) to both AC and Comedy Warehouse. I believe you just have to be over 18 to get in without an adult. Mannequins and BET are for 21 & over only.

I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri for my son; as he's only 10, they didn't tease him too much.
