Please kill off frozen

I am fine with the frozen overlay in the disney parks. I thought the Frozen activities - as well as the show and fireworks at HS were amazing. However, I do have a problem with Frozen Holiday Wish at the castle. The concept of Elsa lighting up cinderella castle with her foot - makes no sense. I can only imagine that Elsa will ask Cinderella for permission. But I know I am in the minority - but Cinderellas holiday wish was one thing that did not need to be updated.

I agree with you on the Frozen overlay. I do think that Elsa lighting up the castle makes sense though. She has ice powers and she builds her castle with her foot. I only first saw the castle with ice decorations in January, and my best friend, who was there with me and had also seen Frozen with me, and I both immediately said that it looked like something Elsa had done.

It's not to say that Cinderella's holiday wish will go away forever, but for now, while the film is popular, they'll do a little something with Frozen at the castle. Personally, I'd rather them beat Frozen to death than have an excellent movie and do nothing with it, such as they did with Tangled and Wreck-it Ralph.

Not in the middle of summer when they turn the thermostats UP to save energy.

Exactly, never before I experienced shops, eateries and even some attractions at WDW that where so annoyingly HOT and merely air conditioned at all than in 2012. Never before I was sweating in a WDW restaurant while being in an indoor area but they even changed this, a restaurant manager told me, "they are saving a lot of money by doing this". I couldn't believe that TDO would even save money at the expense of the comfort and health of their guests but they are definitely doing it. So during our last stay we decided we will never go back to WDW between late April and late October again because in opposite to the past shops and restaurants no longer offer a retreat from the heat on searing hot days.

The last time we went in May I got lightheaded and dizzy in the queue for PotC because it was so hot in the corridors. By the time we got to the boats, I thought i was going to pass out. Never again!

I find it ironic that the OP previously started a tread called "Everybody's Crying" complaining about how negative most of the threads are on the forum. Now here he/she is crying about how WDW is pushing all this Frozen BS on the guests. In all fairness, there were some positive points in the posting, but this does not sound like a very positive post. So, who's crying now?

That last phrase, I can't resist

I went to Hollywood Studios twice during the Frozen event. I never once felt like it was being shoved down my throat. It was a good time. I think people buy more into the hype that its a terrible thing instead of just seeing it as something fun.

Would you kill the goose that laid the golden eggs if that goose were yours?
Exactly!! Anyone that works in the real world would love this sort of success. I guarantee if you had a product like this at your work you'd be riding that cash cow all the way to el banco.
