Platinum DVD, Fall 2005 - Cinderella!

UltimateDisney.com brings news of fall 2005's Platinum DVD release, which will be Cinderella. It's set to be released on October 4, 2005.

The Bambi Platinum should also be released next year......I was hoping they would do the Little Mermaid first though.

Just around my sister's bday...you see I broke the vhs tape...and that was her fav movie...I've been waiting for the movie to come out in dvd...so I can finally buy it and she can stop hanging it over my head already...:lol:

Well I for one am very happy to hear this. My sister in law has the viedo, and doesn't have any kids so it lives currenlty at our house. But our 3 year old DD loves Cinderella and waches it all the time. She is lucky because most of her friends don't even have the viedo. While Cinderella II isn't too bad (good enough for 3 year old princesses) it isn't the same.


We have Little Mermaid on DVD, I got it about 3 1/2 years ago becuase I knew I was having a little girl and thought she might like it (one of those buy 3 get one free things.) Boy am I glad I did.

Isn't Aladin coming out on DVD soon? Our VHS copy is over 10 years old and in very bad shape.

Yes, Aladdin comes out October 5 of this year. They're preselling it on disneystore.com now.

I have Cinderella on Laserdisc Box Set, and Video tape, and the soundtrack record from the 60's and on cd!
Now I cant wait for the DVD!

Yay!! I am so happy with these news because our VHS is messed up from watching it too much so I've been waiting patiently for the DVD. I will continue to wait patiently until next year. Luckily the VHS isn't THAT messed up.

YEAH! My favorite Disney movie being released on my 26th birthday! That's the best present I've gotten since MMC's season premired on my birthday in the 90's!
