Besides TDO being cheap why did WDW get such a (I can't quite come up with a word that discribes how bad it is) version of DL.

Perhaps they knew that Pixie Hollow was planned as part of the Fantasyland expansion, and didn't want to spend any more money than was necessary for something so short-term? :shrug:

Also, a lot of the gardens and waterways in Disneyland's version already existed from the Ariel Meet&Greet that was in that location beforehand. And most of THOSE waterways date all the way back to the gardens of the House of the Future that was in that spot back in the 60's.

i went to the pixie hallow in wdw it was actually pretty cool...if you don't get there right when they drop the ropes for MTTF you'll have to wait along time to meet the fairies

Wow, the one at Disneyland looks 100% better than the one at Walt Disney World!

I might add that Pirates at the World was different than the original at Disneyland. That was one ride I HAD to go on on our trip and although was happy to ride it, was a bit disappointed.
