And it has been having better drops than most movies in their second weekend, for example while Coco had a -45.8% drop, Moana had a -50.1% and Frozen a -53.1%.
Coco is running 8% behind Moana right now

That will be a brand new ride for WDW though, with the potential to draw people into the park. An overlay on Gran Fiesta doesn't have that same potential IMO.
Guests from all over the world visit WDW. Not just the US.Is happening? For sure 100%? Oh ok
Domestic matters for a U.S park. The other thing that matters is merchandise opportunities, of which Coco is weak
Anyway, just my opinion. Shrug.
Coco is also running 20 millions ahead of TronCoco is running 8% behind Moana right now

I like how you keep ignoring a basic flaw in your way of thinking
Looks at the 1-2 hour wait for Frozen Ever After...
Yeah, overlays don't do anything.
Box office numbers aren't single handedly responsible for deciding what movie gets a ride. What is the flaw? Do tell
Box office numbers aren't single handedly responsible for deciding what movie gets a ride.
As I've pointed out many times, Tron is getting a new build super expensive ride, and it did really bad at the box office
But if the box office numbers are so important, they would have used a different IP instead of TronTron is a clone that will add capacity to the most overcrowded park in WDW. This won't add any capacity
But if the box office numbers are so important, they would have used a different IP instead of Tron
This will cost less than a quarter of what tron will cost. And while coco won't add capacity it will increase utilization of existing capacity. What is the flaw? Do tell. Tron?
Tron is a clone that will add capacity to the most overcrowded park in WDW. This won't add any capacity
Shanghai's isn't a cloneBut isn't it a clone? So that would cost money to re-IP it?
Ok, so then they would build a Coco ride regardless of the box office if it added capacity? What is the flaw? Do tell. Tron?

I don't know look at the foreign gross for Coco, seems pretty low if you ask me. Especially for a movie which opened in Mexico and China already.

You should also take in account that the ones who actually have inside information have stated that it's most likely happening unless it is a box office failure similar to The Good Dinosaur (Coco should surpass, at least the domestic gross of TGD, by next week) and that all the plans have been finished, as @marni1971 and @Magic Feather have stated. Also @WildcatDen said that the Coco Overlay was happening even if it's not a box office success (which Coco has proven to be so far)...But isn't it a clone? So that would cost money to re-IP it?
I see your point about box office not being the only factor. I still think when you take everything into account for Coco, including the fact that Gran Fiesta already exists (therefore not adding capacity), along with the box office, and lack of merchandise opportunities, this one isn't going to happen. We'll see.
Ok, so then they would build a Coco ride regardless of the box office if it added capacity?
Do you just not want them to build it for some reason?

True. Coco is already over 171 million overseas. That's a typo
