Pixar Place Attractions...?

Pixar Place remains open with just one attraction (Toy Story Mania) another studio to expand into, and the possibility of seemingly endless space in the backlot tour area for expansion (should this dated attraction be removed)

Yet, it seems that the same rumors we keep hearing are both boring and repetitive. Monsters Inc family coaster, Ratatouille restaurant, Carsland copy from DCA.

I'd like to know what other creative and high quality Pixar attraction ideas are out there! What do you think would make the most valuable addition to the studios?

I think a "carnival" ride or rides like those in A Bugs Land in DCA would be a nice addition to Pixar Place and DHS. It will give the little ones some rides especially since most of the rides in DHS are E-tickets with height requirements. Also the Bugs Land rides would fit in well with Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie set Adventure which is a nice exsisting spot for kids and family's near Pixar Place.

Sorry, I really don't want any more carnival-style rides in the Parks. They're little more than the same off-the-shelf junk you get in any other amusement park with slightly better theming. There are so many better options for family-style attractions - traditional dark rides (like California Adventure's Monsters, Inc.), Omnimover attractions (Haunted Mansion), boat attractions (It's a Small World), etc. - that to cheese out like they did with A Bug's Land and Chester n' Hester's Dino-Rama! would show a real lack of creativity and desire to design attractions that all ages can enjoy, not to mention smacking of incredible cheapness.

Sometimes the truth hurts. Disney is capable of accomplishing so much more than what they have been when it comes to attractions deigned for the younger set.

Pixar Place has limitless potential. If everything rumored is completed in the manner it should be, Pixar Place will become the new anchor for the park.

The Incredible attraction that has been rumored for MK would be a nice addition for Pixar Place. I'd also like to see an attraction centered around Wall-E, maybe not in DHS, but in MK.

I'd like it if the Space Mountain refurb got themed to Wall-E. I figure it'll end up getting themed to SOMETHING, and the scenes from Wall-E where they're flying around space were BEAUTIFUL.

Don`t even think about it

Plus it won`t happen. Promise.

I don't really mind carnival type attractions for the kiddies as long as they're well themed. I think Shamu's Happy Harbor at Sea World is a great example. It's full of really simple rides that are themed to the location and since there are several of them they deflect wait times. Of course major attractions like Pirates or HM that everyone can enjoy are awesome but it isn't so bad to have an area of minor attractions, not everything can be an E-ticket and not everything needs to be.

I dont really find those "boring". Monsters Inc coaster, Cars attractions, new restaurant....sounds like all great ideas and I would love to just get even one of them!

I don't see why people think those carnival style attractions aren't appealing to adults. Does it REALLY need to be an E-Ticket for the whole family to enjoy it?

I think they need a Mountain ride over there.. or heck even a water ride.... Splash Mountain you can cool off at MK... Kali River in AK you can cool off... why not a water ride... Unless i'm having a blond moment.. they dont have one there do they??? (sorry blond people... its the only thing I could come up with)

I do not believe anyone said they all have to be E-Ticket attractions. I don't consider Fantasyland's dark rides E-Ticket, nor do I think of Journey into Your Imagination as an E-Ticket. However, those rides are a lot better themed than A Bug's Land at DCA or Dino-Rama at DAK.

I agree but i think one more ride in pixar place then a restaurant because i was looking the other day at places to eat at DHS and there only i think 5 sit down restaurants(correct me if im wrong) i think they could use a nice themed restaurant there even a counter service would be nice

I could definitely see that happening after Remy is gone from France, I'd be shocked if they didn't take the advantage to put Remy in a resturant and choose Toy Story or something. But if Pizza Planet moves....

I'm ok with carnival type attractions as well but again like you've all mentioned it's the theming that counts! I also don't mind rides that are specifically built for kids. Even though I'm all about the family rides that everyone can enjoy (and this is where Disney shines in my mind)... it doesn't hurt to have some "kid" only themed rides. Even the family orientated rides can be a bit much for some kids. Some kids are really sensitive to sites, sounds, etc. and even some of the kid friendly rides are not necessarily "kid friendly" for all children! The simpler rides gives kids something to start with if they're nervous about the other rides. It gives the kids confidence and courage to maybe experience some of the other wonderful rides that Disney has to offer!

The fact of the matter is I wouldn't complain about anything that is added to DHS. It needs something! I would love to see Pixar Place expanded with a new ride (MI coaster), restaurant, and retheming the play area to a Bug's Life is not a bad idea either!
