Pixar Pals Parking Structure Specifics/Updates

I think it could open by June 21. Things like All the pretty signage, Some themed paint work, plants in the decorative planters, even sections of landscape Could be unfinished when it opens though. This will be a project that opens with what’s required.... details later .... in an effort to get this into service quickly

Im actually surprised they haven't they havent extended the work walls and started pouring concrete for the planters. they have plenty if room to start developing the plaza area.
Im sure they are also trying to get structure planter holders done so they can start adding the large canopy as well.

i don't know much about building a parking structure but it also seems weird that they are welding each individual stem for the planters. i would have thought it would have been easier to weld them in place at ground level then put them up by strips.

There is some good news in there...I didn't know they are also adding 2,150 spaces to the Toy Story lot and adding a security checkpoint to the TS lot. Those buses will now drop you off past the security checkpoint at the esplanade.

Looks like the CM parking next to the Toy Story Lot will be moved. That will now be used for guest parking with a second TS lot entrance off Katella (current CM entry). CMs can’t be happy about this.

Edit: another poster has relayed that CM parking will actually be closer now.

CM parking moving to an expanded Pumbaa lot which is much closer (and within walking distance) to the Resort than Katella lot. Shuttles provided for those who don’t want to walk. Seems like a win-win.

But does this mark the end of the Eastern Gateway, since the main CM parking lot will be on top of what was to become the proposed Pumbaa structure? Or should we see this as temporary until Eastern Gateway is approved?
