I would rather see A revamped version of it instead of The Incredibles, or those three eyed martain bumper cars.

Pirates of the Caribbean's effects ARE being updated...updating just so happens to mean changing also.

Wow, Ricky... great job with those pics. From the behind-the-scenes stuff, to the "naked" AA's, even those shots of the printed work schedule were very interesting... All of it, just wow. Great job.

If you dont mind me asking, what are the major differences between DLR's POTC and WDW's POTC? I've never been to DLR so I wouldnt know.

At the DLR POTC- you start off in the Bayou, traveling through the swamp past the Blue Bayou restaurant... You reach a dark tunnel with a skull and cross-bones and make the first drop. You are now in the large and colorful caverns, make a U-turn and then make the second drop. You are now in the darker caves, traveling past scenes showing pirate skeletons surrounded by an incredible amount of treasure. At this point you enter another extremely dark cave, this time hearing an eerie, echoing voice. As you emerge from the cave you see a larger, more elaborate version of our pirate ship VS. the fort battle scene. From here on out it is pretty much the same overall idea... but instead of the ride coming to an end after the burning city scene, it continues through the burning city. You see a group of pirates goofing off and shooting guns somewhat similar to our final scene, but instead of ending there the ride now continues up a lift hill. As you go up the lift hill, you pass several pirates trying to push/pull all of the treasures they have found up the incline, once you reach the top you make a U-turn past the queue area, and you end up in the same station you began.

It really is a great ride, and I agree that it blows ours away.

I couldn't have said it better. It is unfortunate that they are tinkering with DL's POTC. I could ride that one all day long and not get bored. There is so much more to see. I can only hope that whatever they do to DL's POTC doesn't make the ride worse.

THe only thing I have a problem with is that each ride is being modeled after a ride. We can only expect Splash mounatin the movie or the Ellen and Bill nye weekly show.

Yes pirates needs an update but why turn it into the movie?

Glad everyone is enjoying the pictures. I was wholeheartedly against the updates until I realized that it meant two things:

1. An update for everything in the ride (visuals, safety, audio, etc.)
2. New, great characters in the ride that will not drastically change anything... especially since they are supposedly sculpted in the same style as the rest of the pirates, not true-to-life

I am against the Wicked Wench becoming the Black Pearl for now... but I'm sure when I see the Black Pearl live and in person I will be wowed!

There will be more pictures coming as I get em!

Thanks for the fix, it works for me now! The video was great although it kinda confused me, haha, i wasnt sure what the first part was. Then when they showed the skeleton with the wheel i wasnt sure if it was tacked onto a wall or if the camera was sideways. haha

wow, great pics but wow.

Either your contact is a BVC guy or a Cast Member sneaking in at night. Either way, be carefull. Once word gets out about these pics I'd be surpised if you didn't get a C+D Letter.

It's so weird seeing the pictures from this perspective. Something seems really wrong about it. I'm really surprised that these photos are allowed to be released. The work schedule and things like that seem like they would be so secretive. I hope no one gets in trouble or loses their job for this.
