Hey everyone im going to the ppp in april and i was just wondering what the crowd level is like? Is it crowded on average? does it feel like an exsclusive amount of ppl or not. And on average how long are ride waits generally?

Also just wondering what some of the best events are at this thing?

Thankz!

This event is generally -extremely- poorly attended. From an outsider viewpoint, i'm not even sure why they still offer it.

Make sure you get there EARLY. I got there right when the party was starting and traffic outside the park was madness. They had traffic control between people entering the park and leaving and the mess was BAD. Once the party starts and all of the non attending guests are out, there really is no crowd issue at all.

I would go when we go in May, but it just is so expensive! If they offered onsite guests a discount or something, I would consider it more. But I don't see the point in spending a few hundred total for a few hours when I've already shelled out several thousand for the trip, even though my 5 yr old son would probably really enjoy it. What he doesn't know won't hurt him...

I was just there on Friday night, as a chaperone on a senior class trip. Everyone from our school who attended had nothing but positive remarks.

It drizzled, and the MK was the emptiest I had ever seen it. Space Mtn and Peter Pan even had empty cars in between Guests it was so poorly attended.

It was fantastic.

Tuth be told, I had been to a Halloween Party that was sold out--and still felt like we had the park to ourselves. The lines for the rides were near empty. I don't understand the complaints of crowd levels as I had been on a sell-out night and walked on most everything or waited under 10 mins.

I think a lot of the complaints have to due with the fact that many people go to MK's parties for the special events and not actually for the rides (surprising to me, but I hear this a lot). For example, most of the Christmas parties have short lines for the rides. However, people get upset because Main Street is crowded, the fireworks, parade and shows are crowded, and the fireworks/parade are shown during MK's regular hours around Christmas so they are not unique.

Like you, I go to these events mainly for the rides but I'll enjoy the party on the side. So I just love the opportunity to get on MK's rides with little to no wait. However, I understand the view that if you go to MK's private parties, you should be able to enjoy the special events and they should be unique to that party.

That said, P&P is a lot of fun and it is not crowded at all. The parade and fireworks show are both unique to the party, and Music, Magic & Mayhem (the fireworks show) is supposed to be amazing. My favorite part of the party: the lines for the characters are longer than the lines for the rides. The longest wait I saw at 9:45 PM was a 20 minute wait for Space Mountain (if I stayed to the end, I'm sure waits would have been much shorter by the end of the night). It's a great atmosphere and a lot of fun!

I went to two in Feb and have to echo the remarks about it not being crowded at all... I have been to both MVMCP and MNSSHP and they were both FAR more crowded... as others have said normally the crowds are all at the parades and special shows/characters/etc. But even parts of the parade route for the P&PPs were basically deserted. I really enjoyed it and planning on going to the last one they currently have scheduled for early June. I was happy to see them schedule more... I was afraid they would stop having them because of the turnout >_< but guess with the prices they charge for it... still good money for them :p

They only sell a fixed number of tickets for the event. I learned this when an agressive phone rep tried to sell me tickets to the event (I was uninterested is spending another $40.00 (or whatever it was) since we where there for four days and already had a four-day pass.

The party is great. The fireworks are amazing. The parade is average. The lines were walkons.

My wife makes fun of me because while we were walking on to BTMRR all i could say is "i can't believe we are walking on big thunder mountain railroad".
