I suppose you would be the people I should be asking my question... so here goes:
My daughter is determined to be Elizabeth for Halloween, and, unknown to her, this will be her first day of Disney trip outfit, too. (we're surprising them with a trip in October... yay! And they always dress as a princess or character for our first day) Anyway, I can't find a picture of Elizabeth in the gold dress... a full length shot, with the hat. Could one of you guys hook me up? I would be forever grateful. Thanks in advance for any help! :wave:

LOL I was, and that one I gave up on a loooooooong time ago. There wasn't even anything on ebay, which I thought would be a sure bet.
Well, I dunno, we've got a little over a month left. Hopefully we can throw something together by then.

It stuck with me because I have one of the few remaining Disney Stores right near me and I've kept my eyes peeled for you. I was thinking that maybe they would come out with some pirate costume stuff for Halloween. I will continue to look and let you know if I have any success.

That is cool. I hadn't seen that one yet. We had actually seen the elizabeth dress for sale a month or so ago. It was up over a thousand dollars. I have a picture from ebay, but it's not very good... and... being that I've only seen the movie once, :lookaroun I forget how it fit. See, we were hoping to find a pattern that could be adapted to be similar. I thought this would be a simple task. It is definitely not.

Ok this is making me really mad. For some reason, only on wdwmagic, I cant see any avaters or pics attached. Its been like this for about 2 weeks now and its driving me nuts! I wanna see the dress!! *throws hissy fit*

I saw that dress while looking for a coat for myself and I thought it looked like her dress and I knew you girls were looking for it.If you want I can go back and find out what website it`s from.

Thanks darrel and everybody else too! I ended up getting that pattern, Laurie. Now... to decide whether to have it made or to attempt it myself is the question. Also, I need to find the fabric for the outside part of the dress. Shouldn't be difficult... *knocks on wood* Thanks again everybody! :wave:
HAVE IT MADE!!! It is *so* worth the price to get someone else to do it!
As for the medallion...that's the single biggest thing I miss in the lack of merchandising with this movie. There should be a medallion out there to buy somewhere. (Other than the $1000 on ebay movie prop....) I actually got myself some clay and other supplies to try to sculpt one for myself. If it comes out well, I'll wear it to MNSSHP as part of my pirate costume. Wish me luck!

I would give anything for even a copy of the medallion!
They should be mass-producing the little buggers and selling them in the costume jewelry section of Walmart! Unfortunately, they're not, so we're having a little medallion-making party tomorrow night.
