PINtastic!

So I got a PIN in the mail today for 30% off for the month of November (excluding Thanksgiving week). It is also only good for WL and AKL. A few weeks ago my hubby and I discussed going while the Christmas decorations are up since we've never been during that time of year. I got on WDW website and priced a week in November at WL and AKL but didn't book it. Now I'm getting a PIN for that month :)

Anyone been during the first or second week of November? How are the crowds (that is VERY important to us)? Also, will the Christmas decorations be up by then? And how about the Osbourne Family of Lights? Will they be in full swing?

We were all set to book for either the end of September or middle of October but now we are reconsidering since we have the PIN. What would you do?

Thanks in advance!

The later the better. This year, AK, DHS, and MK were doing Christmas stuff by 11/8. DHS was the lights, AK was the Jingle version of the parade, and MK was MVMCP. Epcot didn't get into full swing until 11/25. The resorts should all be decorated around that time as well. They definitely seem to do the parks first, and then get the resorts later. Unfortunately dates change each year, but that should give you an idea of what to expect when.

Thanks everyone. I would like to go later in November but I don't think that will be an option for us which is why I was asking about the first two weeks. I just don't want to deal with large crowds BUT I really want to be able to see the Osborne Lights and attend MVMCP!!! :xmas:

:sohappy: Thats fantastic. I actually also got a pin in the mail at the tail end of last week for the same deal. Although we had already booked for the week right after Thankgiving I was playing the pin game to see if we could get one.

Anyway, we are checking in on Sunday the 24th and staying till the following Saturday and can't wait. We chose this time thinking the parks would be close to dead after Thanksgiving weekend and we could get a chance to see alll the Holiday decorations.

You will LOVE it for all the Christmasy Stuff! Osborne Lights for sure and if you have time...take in some of the deluxes like the Grand Floridian for decorations and such...I'll be there 11/24 - 12/1 and can't wait!

That's usually when my husband and I go, we have had great weather and the crowds weren't to bad, there is "jersey week" which I think is usually around that time, not a real problem just lots of people from Jersey, (was from there not slamming anyone). We have been able to see the Osbourne lights during the 2nd week of Nov and the decorations are up. You can check the Disney calendar and see when the lights are being turned on and when they start the Mickey's Merry Christmas Party. I love that time of year there. It really puts me in the Holiday mood. But really is there a bad time to be at Disney (excluding the hot summer)!
