Have you ever been on the Shuttle Launch experience? Just curious.

The Shuttle Launch experience isn't close to as "realistic" as the MS launch. The SLS basically tilts so you lean back in your seat. The SLS pre-show is very cool and the vibration is supposedly realistic but there are no g-forces. SLS would have been the venue for MS technology. If you combined the G force of MS with the vibration of SLS they could have really given a good idea of what it felt like to be in a Space Shuttle during launch.

Maybe they'll make use of it for the Falcon 9 launch experience sponsored by Tesla.

M:S would've been awesome if it had replaced Mission to Mars. The ride belongs in TL in the MK, not in EPCOT.

Eh, while going in TL would be appropriate, the ride fits in very well in Epcot. I just think the pavilion around it needs to be spruced up regarding space travel/exploration/potential colonization. Love it or hate it, though, M:S certainly is not out of place in an area known as "Future World".
