I didn't come off it nauseated - it is quite an amazing experience. Have you tried it?Wish they'd refurb the inside to something new...
Everyone I know personally who's been on M:S did it once and never again because they all came off the ride completely nauseated.

I will say--I LOVED M:S in 2003. Very impressive to me. But, I don't think it has aged well. The interior (to me) looks very early-2000s (the inherent problem with going futuristic) and the ride video looks like something that would run on my (ancient) PS2. I really wish they had gone with better visuals. It's a major let-down on this ride.Yup, in 2003. DW and I felt like we were about throw up as we got off. Haven't been on it since. Not something I'd want to chance and experience again, even on the tamer side they have now. I'll take a good coaster anyday though![]()
I can see why someone would be nauseated after riding the orange sequence (spinning, upside down, g force), but I would suggest trying the green side/sequence for a tamer experience. Yeah it really is an amazing experience and the closest thing I'll ever get to a outer space experience.
Upside down?
Whoops, that was a typo. I'll edit that. Although would be cool if that did occur in the orange sequence.
I'm confused as to why the outside is being refurbed; it looked fine, but okay.
I must be one of the very few people that enjoy the outside, inside and ride. Just a feeling I get when approaching the building and walking in. The ride is amazing also. A must do a couple times when I'm in the world.
I guess I didn't really take notice since I hadn't been to Epcot since 1999-2000.It has looked beyond crappy for over a year. Flat out terrible. The planet no longer shined and the pavement around it is hideous.
