Like Japan! Yes! Please!I actually think these latest pictures look much better than the initial redo of last year. At least now, it reads as a temporary scheme designed to celebrate a particular occasion. I’m hoping once the 50th is over it’ll go back to something closer to the muted palette we had before (or what they currently have in Japan).
You don’t want to applaud The Zach and his team for using something fancy called a “computer” to ensure that the new decorations actually fit the castle?

That explains why they have not been able to adorn the castle with anything until now. They didn’t have the technology to do so until now.Said castle was originally built without the aid of computers.
They sent a man to the moon with those computers, how far we've fallen...Said castle was originally built without the aid of computers.
For real. I’ll applaud Zach if he ever posts evidence of a currently employed Imagineer touching a piece of real paper! This is like Pixar bragging that they animate with computers.
Seems like it. It does look somewhat... incomplete. Hopefully the medallion fixes that.So they are indeed finished with the castle aside from the 50 medallion? Moat being refilled soon? Or maybe it already has?
Guess the front castle turrets are not getting decorations? Weird.
Looks like reflected light to me. Compare the part in shadow (under the “pipe”) with the area surrounding it and you’ll see what I mean.Whoa! Is that brand new paint ALREADY FADING?!!View attachment 552630

No it's not fading already. Look at the picture of the head on view of this particular roof and it's clear.Whoa! Is that brand new paint ALREADY FADING?!!View attachment 552630

This!Yeah, I don't think it's fading.
It does look like a very poorly done paint job up close like that -- but since no guest will ever see it except from far away it doesn't really matter.
Yup. And 72dpi at 4' x 12' looks photographic at a distance.This!
Many moons ago I did maintenance on highway billboards. We had a saying that it only needed to look good at 60/60. 60 mph and 60 feet in the air, amazing what you can't see from that distance
