I am really concerned about how they are going to manage the transition from Liberty Square/Haunted Mansion into Fantasyland here now that they have expanded that pathway there. Will it get castle walls there too?

Does anyone think there will be an archway or something to block the sight lines so that people walking to the Mansion in LS can't just stare into Fantasyland so easily....and people in Fantasyland can't just stare into the Mansion area?

I considered this as well, but after looking at the plans its clear that the walkway should have quite a curve. Kind of like that big wall you have to walk around when stepping into a door-less bathroom. Also, dont forget that theres a bit of an elevation change here. I believe you'd have to look 'up' the path to see Fantasyland and 'down' the path to the HM area, so that should skew sight-lines a tad too.

I agree. When you look at the way MK is currently around that area, a few buildings and large trees are in that area. I hope, though, that the Rapunzel "Tangled" Tower is not visible from the courtyard of the Haunted Mansion. That would kind of ruin the spookiness of the mansion if a princess tower is above it.... lol. The tower is supposed to be somewhere around 40' tall, with an extra shove into the air, courtesy of the small hill above the Haunted Mansion (on the right of the mansion). I think that most of the sight lines may will be of trees, but with this huge tower, they might be challenged a bit to hide the view from the mansion. Regardless, I will love for the tower to be there...
