Pets

No pets right now. My beloved cat of 13 years died three years ago, and I haven't replaced him, physically or in my heart, just yet. I prefer cats to dogs, always have...always will. :)

Well, I don't have any pets yet but soon I may be a foster mom to a retired, racing Greyhound. The organization is going over my application and checking my references (yes, I said, references) and soon I will find out if I am approved. I can't wait! :)

I like your sugar glider, Now. Can they only live in warm places?

I've met a few. They seem like wonderful dogs; very sweet and affectionate!

That's been my experience too. One good part of being a foster mom rather than just adopting right away is that I will be able to figure out if I am ready for parenthood before I make a lifelong commitment. It seems like the ideal situation. :)
