Recently, I've been accused by some for making up conspiracy theories. First off, if I have a conspiracy theory to share, I would make that very clear in the post. FACT - My sister and I were planning on going to WDW last week.

FACT - A few months ago back I posted an idea I had at that time to go to WDW and take pics of the monorail footers that supposedly do not exist (but they do) backstage of Future World East. I postponed doing that for financial reasons.

FACT - I mentioned that footers was on the agenda for the trip last week, had I gone.

FACT - Rumors started here that I was planning on sneaking into CM areas guests are not allowed into.

FACT - Those rumors weren't true. My plan, which I never discussed here, was to try to photograph the footers from the outside speedway portion of Test Track, while actually on the ride. Nothing illegal or questionable. I may be crazy but I'm not stupid.

FACT - After eleven (11) years of membership here (since 2013) on wdwmagic forums, my account just stopped working (for the first time ever) the night before we (my sister and I) were going to leave to WDW. No error message. Just a blank white screen and no HTML - nothing.

FACT - I tried several different browsers, platforms, computers on different IP addresses and the same white screen when I try to log in.

FACT - The administrator here (who is doing a fantastic job and runs the best site on the Internet, by the way) says my ID is not blocked on his end and does not see a problem.

Who's blocking it? Why is it being blocked after 11 years here? Isn't it strange that it's being blocked the night before I was planning a trip to WDW (after not going there since 2006 and talking about it daily here)?

Hmm. No accusations. It's just a bit odd.

That was interesting. I think I miss a lot of postings on the forums in general, because with my work schedule, commuting time, and sharing a computer at home, I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like reading threads. So, sometimes it's confusing trying to keep up with all the conversations.

Regardless of what sort of computer glitch may have happened to your original forum account, the positive thing is that at least you could create another one, and remain a part of this community. :)

Take your time creating your monorail video, and you'll know when it's ready for others to view.

It was no secret, in fact, I'm pretty sure I saw it in an official Disney release. They did at one point plan on extending it to, at the very least, the next park which would have been DHS. By the time DHS was built they changed their minds and decided not to do that for whatever reason they had.

So you taking pictures of buried, which would be a trick by the way, monorail footers would be like coming back from a trip to Washington, DC and announcing that President Kennedy had been assassinated back in 1963. Old news Peter or Groxtak or whatever your flavor of the week is.

As for your account, who knows, maybe it died of boredom due to the lack of anything remotely interesting and new.

Right now, none of that really isn't an issue with me, as it was when I was investigating it. My concern now is what happened to my account and the timing of it happening. The footer I was going to photograph from Test Track can be seen clearly with Google Earth. I'm guessing I could get higher resolution pics from Test Track with a telescopic lens, or maybe not. The discussion of Disney being open about it is another thing I was planning on putting to the test, if I were able to find a high-level CM willing to talk about it on camera. Fact is, there is nothing official on the web from them. Not even in ancient documents. So, in the meanwhile, you have those Internet trolls who deny the existence of these footers - and, with nothing official to back up the claims of people who know they're just wrong, it's difficult and nearly impossible to get past them.

Perhaps, but I fail to see a connection since letting out that information is not a big deal since they have already released that information. And why, pray tell, are they under any obligation to tell anyone if there were footings there or not. It's not any more important at this time then planting roses in a place where there used to be daisy's. There is nothing about it anymore important that publicly stating where the septic tanks are located or where the water lines run or the electrical underground wiring. Why do you continue to insist that revealing this information means anything to anybody. If it's because they won't tell you if they exist or where, then you have to ask yourself why you are required to know it. If you came on my property and demanded to know where my old dry well was located, I would have to make the decision as to just show you or throw you in it. Why? Because it is irrelevant to anything. It means nothing. It has no smoking gun. No one ever promised you a specific method of transportation. It was an idea, like many, that just didn't prove to be worthy when the time came to possibly use it. If it was going to Disney/MGM it was not necessary. The boat trip was more fun and exciting then the 4 second ride on a Monorail. If they original plan was go to DTD, that idea was quickly forgotten as soon as they realized that people would be free parking there and riding the monorail in to the parks taking up the needed parking slots for customers of DTD. It is really easy to figure out, so why not just let it go. It is meaningless no matter what you (ahem) dig up.

As for you account... maybe aliens from the planet Monorailia.

LOL, you just agreed to use the correct term. I know you'll never stop talking about them, and I'll never be able to stop reading the things you write about them (you know, like a train wreck), so the least you could do is refer to them as footings. :p

That's the technical term - "foundation" would also be acceptable. The word "footer" is a made up word - a layman's term, so to speak.

Wow. Just watched American Horror Story... Besides this week's episode being the goriest episode yet, it ended with the main character going on a bus headed to Orlando, on her way to EPCOT Center. The next episode is the season finally. Wonder how they'll include EC in it!!!!!
