This thread is for us to share our love of our pets (or pets of your family/friends if you're unable to have one of your own)! The best thing about having a fur baby is their unconditional love for their human family (and of course the way they get into mischief:joyfull:). I love skimming through various threads and seeing photos of others' pets, whatever they might be🐶🐱🐹🐰, etc. 😊

We've always been a dog and cat family, even growing up - we always had a dog or a cat or both. But with our lifestyle now, cats are easier for us as we are on the go all the time. This is our Belle. We adopted her from our local Humane Society on August 25, 2017. Earlier that day, we returned from a trip to Disney World - we unloaded the suitcases from our car and went to pick her up in less than 1/2 hour from being home! So these two pictures are from the day we adopted her:inlove:

The big cat on the left is our Tigger. We'd had him since we rescued him as a 5 day old kitten, eyes barely opening, ears folded down. We bottle fed him, but at the age of almost 17, we had to have him put to sleep just a few weeks ago. The smaller one on the right is Butch (from "Lady and the Tramp", the restaurant scene). He was born on our back porch to a stray we named Elsa. I think he misses Tigger as much as we do! It always amazed us that, as used to being the "Alpha male" as Tigger was, he took to Butch right away.

So sorry to hear about Tigger. I bet his little buddy does miss him!

4 cats?! I would love to get another, but I'm afraid Belle might get too jealous LOL! But yours are all so adorable. That snuggle picture though :inlove:
I will say that my Belle has done much better since I got Jasmine. Before I got Jasmine, she stopped eating when I went away for a long weekend. She'd been exhibiting that kind of behavior for a while. I went and brought home tiny, eight week only Jasmine, who was three pounds at the time. I made sure I properly introduced them. You'd never know it because they don't cuddle, but Belle is very dependent on her for companionship and does much better having a second cat around. I wish it hadn't taken me eight years to realize that.
