We have two dogs...both puppies. We lost our almost 12 yr old dog to cancer back in January and have never had a dog that liked other dogs, so we rescued two at once. The black lab mix is Voodoo and the border collie is Cookie. Cookie is about to turn 1 and Voo will be 1 at the end of December. They are a major handful! Voodoo was part of a litter of 15 and she was one of the last to be adopted. They had more puppies they needed to bring on line, so they really needed to free up the space. Cookie was a slightly older pup, but she was also abused by her original owners, so she's been a real challenge.
They are also a major challenge to photograph since they are always in motion and Voo is so stinkin' dark.
And they bark...at everything... A LOT!

This is Charm. She was a long-haired calico we rescued many years ago. She has been gone for many years now and I still miss her.

These are our 2 "pups"...Razzle, the tan, Treeing Walker hound and Dazzle, a beagle, husky and boxer mix. They were adopted as puppies at North Shore Animal League (I'm a BIG Howard Stern fan and Howard and his wife, Beth are HUGE supporters), so we made the 100+ mile trek to LI to adopt them.

Mods: Just a note to whoever edited the breed of Razzle in my post...that is the correct, official name of the breed of our dog. I know in 2019, everything must be PC, but jeez...

It is a sad world when using that word, with dogs that were bred to hunt, specific animals, automatically means something bad.
