Oof, a year off. It just seemed like an unresolved issue far longer than it should've been.
What do you mean unresolved? As in they kept the bursted pipe unfixed for a year?

My guess is that they knew they were going to be building the custodial room and didn't want to re-pour the concrete there only to be torn up again.

My thinking it had been two years probably played a part as I thought it was becoming another Tomorrowland entrance issue where they say they're going to fix it and 4 years later it's still not done.

Have you worked in that building in the last decade or two? Friends tell me it's even worse than I remember. Those restrooms are ca.1966. Some of them are no better than closets. That building is badly in need of an overhaul and some of the work described is spot on. I shudder to think what a mess it will be while it's going on. I'll have to reach out to friends who still work around there and see if they even know. Frequently the information in the Permits is news to them, too!

I worked in the building up until I was laid off during the pandemic. Yes, it definitely needs an update as itā€™s very 1960s. Iā€™m happy for the employees who work there. And itā€™s about time. They deserve the comforts of modern restrooms and break areas. But yes, Iā€™m sure it will be disruptive.
