I noticed if you put all these plans together, and add in the Fire Mountain blueprint... not only do they all line up pretty well to, but it looks a lot like what they've proposed at Disneyland and California Adventure, which is "expand the parks to the west" ...and maybe that large resort area is like a Yacht & Beach Club/Boardwalk type complex with it's own back entrance to the new expansion?

Except that the part between the resort area and the park is a gravel lay down area that seems to be slated for construction staging rather than dewatering and building.

The laydown yards are comparable in size to what was setup for Toy Story Land/Galaxy's Edge. It is likely these will be used for future expansion after the current projects are done.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, "today staging area tomorrow something else" ...but the Rivers of America is roughly a 12 acre plot of land. The turquoise areas in this permit total about 48 acres, generally the "Construction Staging Area" doesn't need to be 4 times bigger than the "Construction site"

The land in these turquoise areas are also all designated as "Marginally Suitable" for construction, and they're currently filled with trees... So? They're going to level 48 acres of trees, and fill the area with gravel, just so the can temporarily park construction equipment there? That seems a bit excessive to me...

but a few years ago when they expanded the Hollywood Studios Parking lot and added the Star Wars: Star Cruiser Hotel, I thought that land was also "Marginally Suitable" for construction, and I thought the way they made it "Suitable for Construction" was by filling it in with gravel. but I'm not sure where to look for those permits though

Keep in mind this isn't just for Cars land but will also support the construction of Villians land. Also, this isn't just of construction equipment but will probably for material staging and likely parking since there really isn't any place near by for this. Finally, they are awkwardly shaped and placed sites so they won't be as efficient to use as the big one they did for GE/TSL.

There were a group of permits today for each of the Poly Bungalows. The contractor appears to specialize in painting so this is probably some sort of refresh.

Interesting permit. PCL is one of Disney's big contractors and the expiration is in July of 2025. This is a new address but other Bus Shelter addresses are in the bus drop off area.
