Wonder if they submitted a permit for this construction?
I know they’ve been replacing the street lights on district land outside the wdw arches, haven’t seen anything about the lights at the TTC. Does that mean no more orange glow visible from space coming from the parking lot?Was driving out of TTC today and noticed at the South-West corner of the parking area near the exit under the new overpass. They have a crane onsite as well as a pile of the old massive overhead light fixtures. I assume they are replacing old Mercury Vapor style lights with newer LED type fixtures?

I went back to WDW yesterday 9/15 and parked at the exit lane nearest to this construction area away from traffic and took a few pics. I'll be going back 10/21 and will get some night shots to see if there is a similar orange glow on the LED's or not. Plus be able to see how far they have progressed. Also interesting to see no lightning rod atop the new light structure. Maybe they are not finished with this pole though.I know they’ve been replacing the street lights on district land outside the wdw arches, haven’t seen anything about the lights at the TTC. Here's a few pics showing work.
You can see in the pics where they are replacing the entire top structure that holds the lights to the pole.

Was not able to stay today until evening. So can't say for sure the new night color, white or orange. If I had to guess, I'd say white. But, I can say that the parking lot is about 90% complete. There are some here and there that are not yet converted over. But, looking at both Hero and Villian sides including CM parking, many are complete.I went back to WDW yesterday 9/15 and parked at the exit lane nearest to this construction area away from traffic and took a few pics. Yes, I have done some youtube reconnaissance and believe they are going to be white. They have changed out at least one pole of lights at the Tram unload in TTC per my daytime observations and I have seen a monorail video at night of the same pole and you can see the bright white lights on that one pole. Looks pretty similar to a cool white spectrum. Will be interesting to see the overall look of TTC from MK. How it will differ from the massive orange glow, especially when it is foggy out. Also how the light spread will be going from the sodium vapor style lights to LED and with fewer actual lights. Though I do see where they can adjust the lights up at an angle as needed to spread the light out a bit. Currently they are all just straight pointing down. I assume they are gonna wait until all are changed out and adjust as needed. Maybe.High Pressure Sodium lamps have the classic orange glow, mercury is sort of blue-green. Low pressure sodium is very yellow-orange.
LEDs are typically white as sunlight and overly, extremely, bright. In my opinion soulless. They make "warm" bulbs with more color at lower frequencies, but parking lot designers always select "cold". I think warm costs a penny more.

If anyone can get a good view of the LEDs on the light itself, I could tell you to a very good degree the colorYes, I have done some youtube reconnaissance and believe they are going to be white. Presumably prep for the 2nd Mando/Grogu missionAnyone seen a permit for this? - "Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it looks like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will be getting some TLC in the near future — we think. We spotted a permit to “Provide labor, material, and/or electrical for construction” which is pretty vague, so it ultimately could mean anything. "

If it’s BVCC it’s probably something as simple as replacing electrical outlets or drilling stancion holesAnyone seen a permit for this? - "Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it looks like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will be getting some TLC in the near future — we think.
