I dunno. Last time I rode Dinosaur a few years back it was garbage. I could get the same experience by sitting in a chair with a blindfold and someone jerking it around for a few minutes.

OK I'm exaggerating.

Darn right you are.. much to the detriment of the point you're trying to make.

This goes to the crowd levels at WDW in general. I really think there needs to be a GASP Price Increase.
Supply Demand....Things are just insane at this point and who in their right minds is actually waiting 5 hours for a ride?

People who don't know how to use FP+, yes, they exist.

I humbly posit that this is partially a reflection of everything that has closed, lost capacity due to re-imagining, or has become a wasteland.

Think of all the people not at the backlot tour, great movie ride, honey i shrunk the playset, the sound show, communicore, Imageworks, etc. or even the loss of people eaters like horizons and world of motion, and left-to-rot spaces like the Seas.

OK I'm exaggerating, but that's kind of what I feel like I experienced once I get off. Now, if they brought it back to opening day level of quality.. We'd be talking.
Try it again now.

I just don’t get how management can not look at these wait times and think “We need to build a lot more very quickly”...they can’t be proud of the current situation.
I see your point but it's not really WDW's fault that entirely too many people come here at the same time especially during the holidays, and we are approaching the largest race weekend of the year.

I think this week is extreme but it’s a consistent year long problem now. I certainly went “off peak” and looked when American kids were at School etc and it was still slammed. We had a good time because we bought into it and are seasoned pros, but first time visitors should be allowed a certain level of expectation where excessive planning isn’t required in my opinion. Capacity is key.

My advice to anyone at DAK is forget about the rides and enjoy the beautiful park and it's animals! Start a convo with the CMs about the animals. I know around the park they now have little carts with info and CMs from several different countries, start a convo with them! Remember, WDW is an escape primarily, not a theme park mecca.
YES! That's what I do every week when I am not on Kilimanjaro Safaris or Festival of the Lion King. One CM I met was a South African named Garth who taught me how to make biltong. He used to be a real safari guide in South Africa. Interesting person.

I know many families who are in Florida this week for beach vacations. Due to the extremely cold weather the beaches are not an option. So instead, they are all heading to WDW.

But not by much :) Really, when I rode it back then, it was super dark, really loud, and there honestly was barely anything to look at. It was awful. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, does anyone else remember it being in a really poor state?

Let's face it: disney world sucks in the cold. No argument about that has ever been valid...even from the marathoners...

But on top of that...animal kingdom is the absolute last park I wound want to be in below 65...too much path and open air and the wind cuts through you like a knife when it gets chilly.

It's just not AK...All of the parks have pretty long wait times...as of 1:30pm Central for example...

Peter Pan - 155 min (still don't understand why this ride gets this wait time)
Space Mountain - 235 min
7DMT - 220 min
AFoP- 265 Min
Dinosaur/Navi River - 180 min
Disney is a great place but there is no value in these insane wait times. Sure they are shutting down as early as possible at night as well.

Ha. Ha. Hahahahaha.

Try visiting Cedar Point in the middle of October during a cold and windy night.

Then tell me that Disney in the 60's is cold with a straight face.

Brutal..stick to the Haunted Houses.. same reason why I didn’t go on Mystic Timbers during Winterfest.. and why I would never go to WDW during January.

Are you talking about the wilderness explorer stations, or something different?
