Yep, same here. I'm so excited to try out BWV for the first time! We stayed at Beach Club on our first trip back in 2015, but I think we'll be even happier with the location this time.
We’re staying at Dolphin for the 1st time. Wonder if we’ll run into you? Lol. I know I saw we were going to the same boo bash date.

Did the other 3 parks move back to official open today or still 30 min ahead? 11 am really is ridiculous for Epcot.
Second this. Has anyone been to the other parks today? I hope the 30 minutes still applies.

Also, does anyone have any advice for getting to the front of Epcot for rope drop next week coming from Caribbean Beach Resort?

You will just have to rope drop from the International Gateway. You can still make it to Test Track, you just won't be at the front of the line. Your other option is to Uber/Lyft/taxi to the front.

UNLESS: Does anyone know if they're back to running buses from DHS to Epcot? I know they were doing that pre-COVID, even after the Skyliner opened. If they are, you could Skyline over to DHS and catch a bus to the front, but that could be a VERY slow option. You might be stuck waiting for a bus for a long time, so I wouldn't recommend this option.

My advice would be to just rope drop from IG and hustle over to Test Track. If the single rider line is open, you can use that and ride a lot quicker that way. You'll skip the design-a-car portion, but it can be a much quicker ride first thing in the morning. I rope dropped TT once with my 2 teens and we went straight to the single rider and got right on and even rode together because the first group through the regular line were still working on their car designs.

I'm thinking if anyone is turned in to park employee schedules... We can get a hint as to the potential for early entry.
If they really are not letting anyone into rides until official opening, 8:00 am at MK right now...
And with MK opening going to 9am as of July 1st... are parks employees being told to come in 1 hour later? Or are their hours remaining the same as when it was 8am opening...

If their hours are remaining the same as for 8am opening, that would suggest early entry is coming soon. Or at least, they still intend to start operating before official open.

It looks like from the article posted Magic Kingdom rope drop just started today and everyone is released into each land right at the open like it used to be. Are you still at the parks today? Are the other three parks still doing a 30 minute early rope drop or are they now right at open to?

Also, someone else posted that there are no busses from Caribbean Beach to HS or Epcot because of the skyliner. It sounds like getting to the main entrance is critical for a Test Track rope drop. What is the easiest way to catch a bus from Caribbean Beach to somewhere else then on to Epcot? Thanks again!

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know if there was a place like Disney Springs that I could take a bus to and then take another bus from there to Epcot. Since Epcot doesn't open until 11 I figured there would be plenty of time for the long commute.

Hustling from IG might be a bit difficult as I am taking my elderly parents with me. I am worried about being at the end of the line since I believe Len Testa said the other day it was a 90 minute wait if you were at the back of the rope drop crowd.

At mk today. Tapped in at 7:15 but still held as of now. I'm afraid they won't do rope drop before 8 at this point

When I was there last week (visited June 5-18), vehicles were being let in about 45 minutes early and we entered the park immediately and some rides were open. No holding. I only hopped to EPCOT, so I cannot respond to what they did at opening. Based on what I read here, all of this might have changed already.

Got to AK turnstile at 7:25 this am..everyone was already in the park..ran to FOP and waited 40 minutes

That will be the process now. Rope drop will not occur until park open. Times will shift slightly next week when the park hours change

Now if only they could make that process run the same at each park so people could know what to expect.
