Park Narrator?

It appears they have hired a new narrator for to do voiceovers for a lot of the parks' background announcements. I noticed it first when TTA re-opened, and then more recently for the Epcot New Years Eve narration (video on Youtube). He's much younger sounding, and has a style that seems to be emulating Jim Carey. Regardless, it's not a style or voice that I really care for. It's kind of cheesy and doesn't really say "Disney" to me. Has anyone else noticed?

I didn't realize it was the same one for the last 4 or 5 years. Still don't like it though. Just sounds "cheesy".

Yeah, I think he also does the VO for the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, and he is very cheesy.

I agree. He just sounds way too happy, like he's on somthing.

I miss the old announcer, the british woman. I thought she was a lot more Epcot-ish sounding and more dramatic.

Hear, hear! I've finally started to warm to the usual RoE announcer, but TTA/NYE guy is rather annoying.

New or not, he sucks...at least in that clip. I don't remember being as annoyed with the new TTA narration, if it is the same guy.

I get why the NYE ROE announcements sounded so "peppy" but I don't like it... as you guys have said, very cheesy.
