Park Hop ?

I was looking into gettin park hopper tickets this time. I think I might be a little confused. I'm not sure how to word what I want to know.

Lets say I have 3 day tickets and go to AK on the 1st day but have ressie's for lunch in MK. Do you get to use the park hopper once a day or could you go back to AK?
For each ticket can you only park hop once?

With the park hopper you have unlimited admissions to all the parks all day. So, you could start at AK, go to MK for lunch, go to Epcot, go back to AK, go to DHS for dinner, and back to MK for Wishes.

If you add the hopper option you can switch between parks as many times as you want and as many parks as you want.

We've managed 3 parks in 1 day before now!
