Paramount Parks will be getting a clone of the new Animal Kingdom E-ticket attraction slated to open in 2006. Expedition Everest is to put guests up against the imaginary Yeti.

Paramount is also building a "mountain" attraction in all of it's parks throughout the country.

Below is the concept art for Paramount's version:

:lookaroun

Paramount's King's Dominion has had a Volcano coaster for several years now where you shoot out the top of a volcano.

:lookaroun

Maybe DAK is copying Paramount.

There are no Yeti's, but there is a scene with several skeletons that look vaguely familiar to the Pirates of the Caribbean skeletons.

 Well, the difference is whether you are looking for an experience ride or for a fast thrill. On the fast thrill side, Volcano delivers with a touch of theme. Honestly I hated to see the mountain so covered with supports as well :( . it actually looked like a mountain before the coaster was installed. Oh well, they don't claim to be Disney.

Freaky has stepped over that line many a time. Don't be too surprised if it happens again. (and again...and again)

Splash doesn't? :lookaroun

Now...I could've SWORN that Tower of Terror was a rocket ship ride through a hotel and it launched you out of the top via a volcanic eruption....No?

Picky, picky....

Splash mountain does not launch you straight into the air out the top of a mountain... if it does, everyone should be afraid.... very afraid.

Brer Rabbit: Don't shoot me out of that cannon straight up into the air and off the flume tracks Brer Fox.

We should rename ToT the ToP (Tower of Power)

Hey, they tried to make the People Mover into Rocket Rods at DL.
