Wait times dropped dramatically quickly today. When I checked a couple hours ago Incredicoaster was down to 70 minutes.

The park was prepping for 3-5 hour waits for the ride all weekend, and that just didn't materialize. I don't know who they thought was going to drop everything and buy a peak priced ticket to see a mildly reskinned roller coaster, but it's a smaller group than was anticipated.

And yet its at a 120 mins right now at 5pm. So its up and down all day.

I'm not impressed. This is the last day before summer blockouts for a lot of APers. We'll see how the ride does over the next couple weeks with no one but Sigs and paying guests.

The point of spending money on these things is to get people to show up. I don't think this is gonna do it.

I put this in the whiff... category... but honestly don’t get why so many are in the catastrophic camp.

They took a mediocre portion of the park... and it’s still mediocre. I mean the angst over the DCA name and theme is so old now... how does anyone muster any energy to wave that flag?
I'm more mad about the wasted potential than it fitting the california theme or not. We could've gotten a new dark ride, or e-ticket. Instead we got budget cut/rushed land with grey pixar ball. I mean if you're gonna rush it, at least make the ball yellow, come on man.

My point was just that you can't pick a specific point in the day and say thats proof that it dropped dramatically. I agree let's see how it evens out toward the middle of July.

Why couldn’t we have both? Superheroes Land is announced. Concept art hasn’t arrived, but it should be ready for ground breaking at end of summer. Isn’t it coincidental that Disney just released concept art for Emotional Whirlwind attraction for Pixar Pier due in 2019, which is after Bugs Land closes at end of Summer 2018?

I’m more mad that we have to wait for 2019 for Pixar Pier to be finished than another E-Ticket attraction will open at least two years after Star Wars Land opens. BTW: 2 E-Tickets are already on the schedule to be opened in Summer 2019.

Where’s the high 5’s that Mission Breakout wait times decreased to 45 minutes. Unheard of since Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Valid point; they don't spend money on this just for fun. They are trying to keep people coming back and spending money. The Incredicoaster doesn't seem like it's going to be as successful at that as Mission: BREAKOUT was.

That said, the wait time was posted at 150 minutes for much of this afternoon, and has now been at 120 minutes for the last hour here at 6:15pm. That's certainly a big deal when you consider this coaster has a relatively high hourly capacity of just over 2,000 riders per hour (judging by timing the launches of 24 passenger trains whilst enjoying a Blue Moon at the Cove Bar) and has the tallest height requirement at the Resort at 48 inches which prevents many kids and families with kids from riding.

Radiator Racers only gets about 1,600 riders per hour, and Mission: BREAKOUT gets only 1,500 per hour with all six elevators running. Capacity matters in this case, and Incredicoaster seems to have attracted a decent crowd. Let's see what it's like a year from now though.

Good. Hopefully this regime learns their lesson.
