a log flume that's genuinely log camp themed
I dig the boardwalk, but people familiar with Knott's Timber Mountain Log Ride might find the theming of Logger's Revenge a little skimpy by comparison.

Absolutely. Nothing tops Timber Mountain. I just meant that SCBB put a lot more into its logging theme than most other (non-Knott's) parks do.I dig the boardwalk, but people familiar with Knott's Timber Mountain Log Ride might find the theming of Logger's Revenge a little skimpy by comparison.
No way. Lemon beats out EVERYTHING except chocolate. Chocolate and Lemon are a first-place tag team.
If it were up to me, Lemon Meringue Pie would be the National Dessert and we 'd be telling tall tales about Johnny Lemonseed.Hmmm I LOVE lemon ( like real lemon) with food but not when it comes to baked goods or desserts. Lemon icees and sorbet would be exceptions though.

They dumbed down Treasures in Paradise store. It had a bland outside for sure. But the store's interior was THEMED to a pier with cool faux antique amusement park artifacts. Now the store's name and interior decor both match the outside - bland and non descript and not matching anything of a theme (well, it sells Pixar stuff so I guess that is the connection. I expect my low expectations will continue to be proven still too high as this project moves forward and continues to prove how tacky Disney can be. Too be fair the Lamplighter Lounge might surprise me and actually look nice. One thing I don't we ever talked about is if the interior of the stores is getting updated. I know Bing Bongs is getting updated but what about the old Man Hat n Beach store? Is it still 2001 in there?
So typical mall Disney Store. I fear for what DTD's World of Disney will look like. They dumbed down Treasures in Paradise store. It had a bland outside for sure. "themed" yeah okLooks awesome, i think that will be so good like was paradise pier but themed about pixar movies
But still a lot of work to be done on Bing Bong's and the area around the Ferris Wheel. Will they make it by June 23rd???
Agreed, I have a feeling it'll be a staggered opening where somethings open early, like the Yeti Ice Cream, somethings will open June 23rd, and the rest opens at a later date.We know the Carousel won't be done until next year, so I don't think Disney plans on having everything done by June 23rd (50 days to go).
I'd be shocked if those shops reopened in time, but I think that was their goal. I won't hold my breath for anything other than Lamplight Lounge and Incredicoaster though. That's really what they need to have reopened to claim the project is complete.Agreed, I have a feeling it'll be a staggered opening where somethings open early, like the Yeti Ice Cream, somethings will open June 23rd, and the rest opens at a later date.
