I never said that they are re-creating it....I hate to be a realist but do you really think they are going to go through the expense of re-creating a parade that they indirectly destroyed thanks to their own incompetence.

I really loved that song. It really fit the night atmosphere. They sure do, Unless they are freaking deaf and can't hear anything because on mainstreet when the msep music ended for the very last time almost the whole main street was singing "On this magic night"
The finale is very beautiful to watch.SpectroMagic was a wonderful night time parade, with such charm and grandeur. It is and always will be my favorite night time parade! .

After what I just heard from a call, I doubt DL will have paint the night for the holidays and I am willing to bet money on that.
Didn't hear that but a few weeks ago I heard that WDW executives are still not stopping until they win that parade...Let me guess the rumor is back to PTN going to WDW
Maybe they should have actually invested in a new parade of their very own.Didn't hear that but a few weeks ago I heard that WDW executives are still not stopping until they win that parade...
Just returned from TDL and absolutely awed by Dreamlights! I love MSEP, but Dreamlights made it look like something rigged up in a backyard with chicken wire and leftover Christmas tree lights. I didn't know that Dreamlights had the same music...and when it started, I was very excited to hear it again, live. It was the highlight of the night. Not to mention the amazing Small World finale and the Drum Float. Dreamlights is the only Disney electrical parade that I really love that is on par with Spectromagic.
The DL faithful might disagree with me, but I hated PTN. Nothing—NOTHING—about that parade impressed or enchanted me. The floats are rolling video screens. Many of the costumes aren't illuminated; the performers just have spotlights on them. (To be honest, some of the walking performers have cool costumes, but it's nothing you haven't seen before.)
MSEP Dreamlights, on the other hand, made me feel the same as Spectro or MSEP. It was like being inside a Disney dream, no pun intended.

Surprise the current MSEP music actually came from Dreamlights (Mainly the first half) while the rest is original while some of the float music would later get reused.Just returned from TDL and absolutely awed by Dreamlights! Now I wouldn't call them cheap, WDW has tons of projects going on than the Disneyland Resort and it's costing them alot to Remake HWS, Try to over-haul epcot and at the same time finishing pandora. Also keep in mind WDW has 4 parks and 2 water parks and they have a almost the same but a little higher budget than Disneyland CAIf WDW wants PTN they could, oh, I don't know…BUILD THEIR OWN VERSION.
Sorry, but their cheapness amazes me. Also, if you have solid info, it would be nice if you passed on more than just tidbits. A little solid info would be nice if you're gonna keep reviving this thread.
Pardon?I don't think I've ever seen anyone like a parade and want to be an "insider" as much as our man Brian here.
"Alternate Pixie dust"Enough with your blue sky armchair Imagineering! This is a news and rumors board! They are dusting off PtN behind Splash Mountain as we speak and it should have opening night in MK on Saturday. Fact.

It is still maintained physically? or are they facing another disneyland? Most of it was.
But the TTA decor is still rusting. Magnet covers are still smashed. Buzz's queue is still a mess.
And Space Mountain is still a travesty.

or worse.. THEY are expecting a Disneyland scenario so they are FORCED to replace the entire thing?
...After a decade+ of neglect. And the ODT isn't behind all the spending, Iger and Co. are.
