The castle float has been in use at WDW (Previously DL) since 1986 making this float 31 years old! It's one of the oldest surviving floats at any Disney Park and has been at WDW for over 4 decades now.
Oh god.
Well, just throw some sparklers on that one and drive it through the park. That oughta please the fans right?

One float. One parade float. That'd be the night parade. "Look a classic float..."

THEY DID THAT.
During the 24/7 event. They only used that single float to quickly move Elsa and Anna around between showings of the Main Street Electrical parade..

I believe it was shipped to Hong Kong, but for whatever reason, never debuted. I assume it's gone.
That may have been the one that was rumored to have been sunk off the bay in Hong Kong because it was in such bad condition when it arrived but I don't think anyone was ever able to substantiate that. Of course, I could just be flat out wrong as well.
I've wondered this as well simply because they spent so much money on the refurb. But then again, TDA may not be willing to give it back to TDO, especially after the condition it was left in before being sent back to DL.
Neither can I and, l really hope and pray I don't have to! If MSEP is out of the question, at least do FOF in it's current form. 1 interesting thing is that FOF is at 5PM April 8th, right before Easter's Weeks . Anyone know why?

One of the floats didn't even make it to DL because of how bad of shape it was on the way to California.

Oh, then TDA will definitely want to loan the MSEP back to TDO, in that case. Look for the announcement any day now - "MSEP will be making it's MAGICAL!!! return to WDW in Summer 2017! Book your FP+ today! Dining and cupcake packages now available!"
Stop. Just... stop. Please. Better get used to the thought of MK without a nighttime parade, because people with far more information than you have stated, repeatedly, that there is not and will not be a nighttime parade at MK for the foreseeable future. That means at least this summer and likely well beyond, potentially for at least a year or more. "TDO" and "ideas" are typically not uttered in the same sentence.

This has been done before during peek times of the year. Highly doubt this is any indication FoF will move to a later nighttime performance.

In fact, it has been established that Festival of Fantasy is NOT moving to nighttime performances. It's not happening.
