Isn't the more likely alternative that we end up with MSEP again, then?

I still think this may happen just based on how cheap TDO is - if they manage to ship it to California, have it refurbed, and then they only have to pay to ship it back, I wouldn't be surprised if due to "overwhelming demand and guest popularity" MSEP returns to the Walt Disney World Resort.

lets get thousands of people to send letters to TDO telling them NOT to bring the MSEP back... let it die in California... Demand something comletely new just for WDW that DOESN'T include the acrylic castle float...lol

Or Trash the Night as some refer it to lol. Have to admit PTN would actually fit in well with MKs already ratchet move it shake it dance and play it lol, as well as their other attempts at dance parties around the park

It's not a night parade but it wouldn't be a bad thing if Kiss Goodnight came back!

If not Forever, Ignite The Dream from Shanghai would work :). Yes yes I know some of you will say WDW needs something new and original but that I wouldn't expect until the 50th.

Maybe @marni1971 knows this but is MK expected to get any further infrastructure for a nighttime show to bring it up to par with Shanghai? Like moat fountains? Lasers? They did finally add the syncrolights to the sides of the castle for Once Upon A Time.

But it won't. There's no logical reason why Disneyland would have MSEP shipped back to California if it were just going to be shipped out again. It would make no sense.

Potentially. But don't expect a bank of water like Shanghai or Paris.

So MK will never get fountains at all? I know the moat setup is a bit different than Shanghai and Paris. They could add a few fountains in each of the water areas around the hub to give it that immersive feel. Just no water screens or wall of water. But a few jets or whips could work?

Is there a need? Shows like this make sense in Paris or Shanghai where there isn't another park with a fountain show. We have Fantasmic, IllumiNations, and RoL in 2024. Variety is the spice of life.

I get that, but does it make sense to spend the money to ship it back to California, refurb it, and then scrap it after a six month run? I think that IF TDO wanted it back and IF they really are going to send it to the scrap heap after its final glowing away at DL, then why wouldn't DL try to recoup some of that cost by selling it back to TDO?

I'm not saying it's going to happen, I just wouldn't be surprised if it did. That's all.

Has anyone seen what they did to the Mickey float for MSEP in DL? The beautiful way it used to spell Disney's Electrical Parade now has two sets of lights that light up.One has Disneyland in yellow that is not centered and runs off the drum and then the Electrical Parade is in white and you can see the Disneyland and Electrical Parade spelled out when the other is lit up... It looks terrible!!!

Sorry for the really bad sentences. Hard to do on the phone! lol

They overlaid the light strings on top of the old "Disney's Electrical Parade" logo. It's easier to see in flash photos.
